B&B: Week of March 2, 2009

Whooosh, there's Donna! Lol, did we ever figure out if she was even there last week? And why did she start complaining about Pam all of a sudden? She's been around since the surf line thing. Quite an ecclectic bunch with Pam, Thorne, Marcus, and Owen together. Not sure why Marcus was talking to Pam, it was her fault he was bitten by that snake, and then all the stuff she's done to Donna.

And the last five minutes were AWFUL.

Those last five minutes were like cheap, cheesy, soft core porn. There is something about the way Kyle Lowder plays Rick that is so slimy. He acts like a delusional rapist mixed with a bit of Phantom of the Opera...it's weird.

Brooke needs to stop acting like such an idiot.

I liked the eclectic bunch in the office, Thorne, Marcus and Owen should all get together and make a new company or something, the chemistry between the three guys is really good, they're all bros.

Is there a purpose to Marcus because this is beyond ridiculous. It's painful watching the character when there's so much they could be doing with him. He doesn't even interact with Donna so why would they even reveal he's her son in the first place, unless BB wanted to jump on the "diversity" bandwagon.

After Jackie's inspired "calling out" of Katie (in which Jackie, in the grand tradition of B&B confrontations went there) I think she should just call out Rick on behalf of everyone on the show.

Rick is weird but in a incestuous relative sort of way.

Could this spell the end of Brooke/Ridge??? I'm not a fan of either one of them but I'm way pass tired of the both of them.

Now that Rick has been unleased by his mother and the three of them are in his cross hairs maybe one of them will open that sorely needed can of whup ass on his increasingly slimy butt.

Very wrong of me, but I was thinking Owen and Thorne in a gay SL would be amazing, perhaps two of the best bodies on the soaps currently!

What a lame episode today's was, that "fire" was a complete non event!

And we've got in store weeks of Lt Baker/Charlie investigating and sifting through the list of suspects? I'm breathless with anticipation!

Sure Rick/Steffy is sickening, but who'd say no to Kyle Lowder naked in bed?

Owen, yes. Thorne, not so much, IMO. Winsor has been public about his weight battles (not that there is anything wrong with that), but I never once have found him interesting for even a portion of a second.

That fire was pathetic. I guess they didn't want to get rid of the beach house set.

The fire certainly was a non event and I think you're right, that beach house set is too nice for them to torch...it's one of my favorite B&B sets.

If you ask me, the firebug is Rick himself. Notice that when Steffy left the camera focused on him locking the door. Then, when he got out the fire extinguisher, he just turned the knob, no messing with the lock.

Winsor's had weight battles? Dude has always looked to be in good shape to me.

Is Brandon Beemer still on B&B? And is he really getting involved in a GAY storyline?

If so I may have to stomach the horrible hot mess that is B&B just to see that....

Beemer's still on, but no ... no gay storyline for him. That's just wishful thinking by some around here.

I'm thinking the interview was around the time Thorne took over Spectra and was making it a success. Around this time, SOD or SOW had an interview with him.

And in it, he said those long periods of idleness are not good for him. He engages is self-destructive behavior, eating and drinking too much.

At one point, Ronn Moss (whom he considers a close friend) told him he was letting himself go...and he realized it was true. So he trimmed down.

You haven't seen him shirtless in a long time. He is not "cut" anymore, I think.

I have no issues whatsoever with this.

My problem with Winsor is that I think he acts 'high emotion" with a similar style as Ronn Moss. Grimacing, throwing. Too over-the-top and forced for me.

I don't think he does soft emotions well. Not a crier or anything. But I think his "rage mode" is A LOT better than Moss's. Sometimes I think Ronn Moss's voice gets in the way. I really don't know what exactly, but just the sound of his voice makes things come out strange sometimes. Winsor has more of a southern accent but I think it serves him better.
