When is Adam going to put in a f'ing alarm system at the mansion? Both David and Jake can slink into the mansion undetected with Adam/JR in the room next to them?

Zach can go to hell.

Angie/Ryan scenes were actually nice - calmed CamMat down a little.

Loved Adam walking in on Zendall beating up on Reese at the end. I really LOVE Adam being thrown into the mix here, bc this story was getting so frustrating and STALE AS HELL.

Chrishell put in a great performance today.

Debbi Morgan is a beautiful woman but that atrocious wig has GOT to go! She's reminding me of Latoya Jackson recently and that's not a good thing. What happened to those soft brown curls she was sporting when she first came back. She looked young, sexy and vibrant! Now... not so much :(

Only took a few weeks to get Kendall back to annoying the sh-t out of me. I couldnt stand her in this episode. I much preferred the subtle bitchiness and not the in your face, loud approach that she had today. How arrogant were she and Zach today? Jeez, if she wants Reese to keep her secret, the best approach is to not attack her. Zach is a complete a-hole. He was so rude and dismissive of her just a few hours ago and now he's acting all nice like he's her friend bc he needs something. Reese should have told them both to F--k off and leave her the hell alone.

Amanda and JR are gold together. Absolutely love them

Krystal sure has a big mouth. The point of a secret is to not go around dishing the dirt. She should have kept her nmouth shut

Is this entire storyline devised solely to make people care about Reese, and everyone she comes across will be twisted to make her sympathetic? Shouldn't Pratt focus more attention on characters who are actually going to be on the show for more than a few months?

Jake's been getting on my nerves to the ninth power. It's the character that I detest combined with an actor I just don't enjoy. Just the fact that he slithered around the patio at the Mansion, peeking in windows and then just making his way into the parlor... yuck. But that is typical Martin behavior.

Like I quoted Blanche Deveraux in a previous post: "Dear God, let him get caught. Let him go to jail. Let him rot and DIE in a prison cell with the rats GNAWING AT HIS EYES!" -- That's pretty much how I feel about Zach and Kendall.

I wasn't watching this time last year out of protest, so I have to ask... have Debbi and Cameron had any scenes together since her return? I've been wondering for the past few weeks of Cameron's horrible acting because he hosted Soapstar and she was a judge -- wouldn't it have been nice if Cameron actually listened to some of Debbi's notes? Their scene today was the best work Cameron's done these last two weeks, and in my opinion, Debbi was pulling it out of him.

Chrishelle did a great job today. She played all the appropriate beats beautifully.

We all know from previous experience that hospitals make Krystal want to open her big mouth.

Who is being twisted to make Reese sympathetic? Kendall, Zach, Ryan and Erica are true to form. Sanctimonious, distasteful bitches with excuses for each and every single bad deed.

That's also Reese, yet this story seems devoted to telling us how great she is and how mean everyone else is to her.

I don't think Erica's being written true to form. She wouldn't excuse everything Zach has done and put up with the dismissive way he treats her.

Yes, she is. Due to her abandonment issues, Erica's always had a blind spot for men. But staying recent, Ryan treated Kendall miserably back in 2004, but Erica always praised him. Zach's no different with the garbage he's pulled. Ryan and Zach have done horrible things to "her daughter Kendall" and her family, and Erica will let it slide. Erica only hates Reese because she's territorial and jealous. Erica doesn't like women at all because they are competition. First, it was simply competition for the men in town, then competition for Jack (she vaporized Mary and never respected Greenlee), now, it's competition for the love of her cherished daughter Bianca. By pure virtue of Binks being a lesbian, Erica will always run the risk of another woman taking center stage when it comes to her daughter's love. Erica's been gunning for Reese since day one, like she does with any female she views as a threat. Nothing about that as been twisted to make Reese sympathetic. Erica excuses what Zach did (INITIATE THE KISS) because that was what she wanted to happen. Bianca would be hurt, dump Reese, and Erica would be number one in her precious daughter Bianca's life again.

The bitch is true to form.

Erica's stood up to men as often as she's catered to them. Most of her strongest relationships were with men where she gave as good as she got.

Mary was a schemer (which helped make the character so much fun). Greenlee never respected anyone, outside of Ryan, so I don't know if Erica was trying to have friction with Greenlee. They hated each other long before she found out about Jack being her father.

That and Reese making out with a man the night before her wedding. Before that Erica tried to be polite to Reese, sometimes even supportive.

I think this whole mess of a story is about sympathy points for Reese and Zach. Kendall could barely even have a reaction to all the crap which went on while she was in a coma without being shut down or made to feel guilty.

Reese gives as good as she gets, but Pratt is more on her side, so she becomes the victim.

Reese wasn't making out with Zach when Erica was going to both Bianca and Kendall telling them that Reese wanted Zach.

Excuse me, but what the hell as Reese done to make you even say she gives as good as she gets?

I keep waiting for Reese to "give as good as she gets," because I know Tamara Braun can serve!

THANK YOU! Reese just keeps taking this sh!t from everyone. She was kissed by Zach (she reciprocated), but she is this harpee after Kendull's husband? I want her to fight back. I really want to see that. The story sux rhino nuts, but I think the only enjoyment would be Reese letting each one of those trifling hypocrites have it one by one.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.

    • I decided this primetime soap deserved it's own thread as the Primetime soaps thread is very cluttered and why shouldn't NBC's Lorimar soap mot have a chance to shine? In doing a deeper dive into the second season ratings I was surprised to see that FR actually had an uptick in the ratings when NBC moved it to 9pm Tuesdays beginning March 82. I'd always assumed this move was a desperate one as NBC were running short of programming and had given up on the show, deciding to let the final episodes play out and be hammered by 3's Company  and CBS Movie. But the numbers paint a different story. In it's 10pm slot up against Hart to Hart, which regularly finished in the Top 20, FL premiered in 53rd place and placed in the 40's and 50's as the season continued. But come January 82 the numbers surged a little now moving into the 40's hitting #43 in Feb. Hart to Hart was #11 Then in March Bret Maverick was moved to 8pm with FR @9. First week 16th March FR #47 15.1/24 3's Company #3 Too Close for Comfort #5 CBS Movie #60 Not great but #2 in it's timeslot March 23 FR #44 15.6/25 3's Company #4 Too Close for Comfort #5 CBS Movie #33 So even with a stronger movie on CBS FR's numbers went up. March 30 FR #31 16.6/26 3's Company #9 Too Close for Comfort #5 CBS Movie #56 Best rating/position yet Tues April 6 pre empted Tues April 14 FR #36 16.0/26 3's Company #5 Too Close for Comfort #11 CBS Movie #59 Maintaining previous week's numbers Tues April 21 FR #33 15.6/24 3's Company #3 Too Close for Comfort #5 CBS Movie #60 Numbers down a little (reflecting general spring downturn) but best ranking of the season so far Tues April 28 FR #35 15.1/23 3's Company #9 Too Close for Comfort #6 CBS Movie #42 Tues May 4 FR #27 15.2/24 3's Company #5 Too Close for Comfort #4 CBS Movie #41 Season finale and highest position of the season. Looking at those numbers I wonder why NBC cancelled the show? They had very few hits and here was a show that was holding it's own and moving up in the rankings in a tougher timeslot. And being a serial, the storylines could continue to build the following season. And I'm sure the desirable W18-49 demo was good. Some might argue that CBS were shower weaker movies, but even so, soap viewers are pretty loyal. I guess Grant Tinker arrived at NBC and wanted a classier look but there was room for FR on the schedule. I mean, the following season Knight Rider,Powers of Matthew Star and the A Team arrived so there was still room for more populist fare. Flamingo could have stayed at 9pm-the replacement Gavilan bombed (surely FR would have done better} or moved back to 10pm. The following Jan NBC had a hit with A Team Tues 8pm. Had Flamingo followed it, it might have really taken off. As it was they tried Bare Essence, which flopped. Oh well,it was not to be...
    • Always, in every way, Cass/Wally/Felicia foundational to my viewing. And, I think if we look at the aftermath of the disastrous 90 minute show that we find too many pockets of some kind of lost time at the show plus way too much of change-ups in exec & writing leadership and of course we also reach the first time it becomes notable that NBC wants to get rid of the show so they can put a new soap they own in the timeslot.
