January 19, 200917 yr Member It will be spent watching anything but any news channel. I haven't watched an inaugural since Reagan, and I don't have any desire to start again.
January 20, 200917 yr Member I will be in that million plus crowd witnessing history. I'm happy I won't miss any episodes while being in DC. I'm sure this inaugural will break records in viewership, everyone I know is either watching or going be in DC in the morning. Commemorative tshirts, buttons, etc. I have already bought more than I care to mention and I'm gonna buy more tomorrow. So the soaps are doing a good thing, I don't "wanna miss a thang!"
January 20, 200917 yr Member I won't be watching the inaugaration I'll probably just pop in a movie and watch that or see if Showtime has any interesting movies I can watch
January 20, 200917 yr Member What will everyone do during this free soap holiday? uh... wake me up on Wednesday
January 20, 200917 yr Member I wanna watch when Obama is sworn in, but anything else I probably won't pay too much attention too. I'll probably watch some movies, I rented some older flicks (54 and Get Over It). Nothing to do seriously, this is my last day off then I go back to class for the spring semester!
January 21, 200917 yr Member i spent it watching awful trashy shows on VH1! gotta love Rock of Love: Tour Bus!!
January 21, 200917 yr Member I watched on CSPAN. The networks are full of "journalists" who spend more time being up themselves than actually covering events.
January 21, 200917 yr Member I watched the inauguration. It was a first time for me. I did miss the soaps, though. The shows I am watching at the moment (Y&R, OLTL, AMC, heck even B& are getting really good. With the exception of GH, soaps have gotten better in recent months. Seriously!
January 21, 200917 yr Member I planned to spend it watching Mad Men the first season which I got for Christmas but ended up playing Wii just about all day long. My buddy was home all day and he loves to play it.
