OMG! In character, true to character, whatever about the character... no matter how true to or in character this may be... IT STILL SUCKS ASS! Sometimes, the character is just a fcuking sack of crap, and that's all there is to it. Zach, in character and true to his character, character, character... showed his TRUE CHARACTER. He's a douchebag! If he barks at one more person as if he's King of Pine Valley, I will be glad to sign my name on the dotted line and petition for his CHARACTER to be written out with the quickness. I'm sick of him and I'm sick of Kendall and I'm ashamed of the fact that I actually enjoyed these two characters in the beginning of their coupling. I'm sure Ron Carlivati can bring back Patrick somehow since Susan Haskell's Marty is back.

I guess I just don't feel the attachment to Di or even Josh that some of you do. To me they were not that important of characters in the long haul of things to afford any different treatment than say someone like Trevor Dillon got who was killed off without his character even being brought back. As a fan of Trevor & Janet I was heart broken that Janet would kill him but as a fan of Trevor I was even more heart broken on the piss poor way his character was treated.

Also I felt the same way toward Langley who was always on some type of gig or not feeling well even after Louis Edmonds died. And then toward the end of Phoebe's run just before she died he has suddenly dead too without any mention of it or even a funeral for his character.

I didn't care about Di, but out of respect to the woman who played her for several years and the fans she must have had, and to the ties she still had on the show (JR's aunt, Tad's ex) I don't think they should have brought her back and killed her off a few days later. Di served no purpose in the storyline (they could have made up another friend for Annie) and her death had no impact. The pointlessness is what I didn't understand. It would be like having some woman run over in the street, then she dies, and Jake says, "That was my niece Kelsey," and people say, "Oh, that's too bad," and then the next day nobody cares.

I agree with you but that is pretty much teh same way it was with Trevor and Langley.

AMC has had a bad record with most of those things over the last few years.

To me though with Di I just don't think she should have ever been created.

I mean in all of the time that Dixie's family was mentioned there was never any Di. I just always felt she was some afterthought who was supposed to be Dixie when they didn't think they could get Cady and then when they could they created she was Dixie's sister.

I was infuriated about what was done to Trevor, but I knew the point (even though I didn't agree with the point) was McTavish wanted to bring back her version of Janet, a complete and completely dangerous loon. Killing Trevor was a very effective way of doing so, even though I hated the story and still do. Langley had never been given a proper goodbye and this was their last chance to resolve what had happened to him. My expectations for treatment of older actors is so low now that I was actually grateful for the one line.

Maybe Di's death will have a part in the story later on, but taken as it is, I just didn't get it. I think a headwriter should try to respect history, even rewritten history, unless it's a horrible rewrite, because otherwise fans start to think being invested in a character or story is pointless.

Langley and Trev vs. Josh and Di, well there's no comparison. But from my understaning, the whole Di thing was a crap shoot to begin with. If they could get Cady to come back, Di would be Di, if they couldn't get Cady, Di would have turned out to be Dixie.

I never cared about either of them. McTavish has created so many long lost never heard of before sisters and brothers and children on all of the shows she's written for that it just gets tired after a while.

I am just watching the episode... after all the [!@#$%^&*] he's done, Zach is CONSOLING REESE????? He's not consoling nor his mother in-law nor his sister in-law, but Reese?????? I have nothing against Reese, don't get me wrong, but that scene was just WOW. Zachonny is so dead to me.

I agree CassieFan -- I agree. Nothing against Reese at all. After all, she was the one held at gunpoint and was thisclose from being shot when Zachonny shot Josh, so she has every right to feel the way she feels... But, I sooo agree. Of all the people who are suffering from the events at the casino, he'll console the woman whose life he saved, rather than the women whose family member he KILLED?

I never watched OLTL, but I know who Marty is and who Patrick was, so yeah.. TK, go to OLTL please....This episode was just painful to watch with Zachonny bossing all around...

I actually liked Greenlee in this episode with the speech she said to Kendall. Good Greens is NoRyan Greens.

Jesse starts to annoy me. A lot.

Jacob Young..acting lessons...please...He and Brianne are just painful to watch LOL. David Canary must be rolling his eyes out every time he has scenes with those two.
