The Inauguration of Barack Obama

Some are pissed that he was going too fast for Obama. And, it seemed like he didn't know the oath.

I think Roberts mixed some stuff up. But then Obama didn't really follow some of it.

Ooooh, Cheney actually took off a glove for Biden! Lol.

I'm surprised Bush isn't running towards the copter, giving the middle finger salute to Washington.

I hated his presidency......

But feel he's a good man. I wish him and his lady the best.

I pray you are right. Sorry but Obama is gonna have to prove himself to me. Been burned by too many President's, to just give Obama the benefit of the doubt

I couldn't agree. While I am hoping he doesn't fail, I'm taking a wait and see attitude. So far, since the election, he hasn't impressed me. But I'm not making judgments on that alone, so we will see how he does. I didn't watch the inauguration nor do I intend to watch it later. The only two I've ever watched were Regan's. But if Obama does fail, all of America fails.

How many people were in Washington?? What a huge crowd. I think Dubya is a good man and I wish him the best in retirement.

I'm so happy and hopeful about the Obama presidency.

George W. Bush is officially no longer President, and I couldn't be more thrilled! LMAO, did you hear the huge growd singing as he boarded the helicopter and left?

"Na na na na! Na na na na! Hey, hey, hey... GOODBYE!"

I was stunned by it! The news reporters pretended as if they couldn't hear it, but it was very obvious. The entire crowd was singing it.

You know, I may think GWB's presidency was one of the truly worse in the country's history.

But damn........don't boo the man.

ITA! People can be so immature and stupid.

Wow Aretha, could that bow be any bigger? Im really not liking her singing. She sounds bad

ITA! LMAO

A very good speech.

It was a very, very good speech. I think the expectations for his speech were as high as those for his administration!

I also agree with your earlier post. I think Bush was an awful president, but, as you said, damn, don't boo him.

It was uncalled for. The good thing is, they stopped, so probably others in the crowd may have told them to pipe down.

They are having the luncheon now.

For the President and Vice President.

I just love saying that.

The food they're having at this luncheon sounds absolutely disgusting.

I'd be ordering some KFC, LoL.

This has to be the most watched Inauguration ever.

People seem to be watching every where in DC and we know that people from Canada and Australia are watching.

Shoot I took a day off from work to watch this
