I've always gotten a cold vibe from MTS, almost to the point where she seems like she's a snob, but I'm sure she's not. La Lucci is more outgoing and extroverted and seems more approachable.

I dunno, MTS has always seemed like a royal bitch to me. From what I've observed of times I've seen her on shows like Soap Talk and whatnot she always seems to be in bitch mode no matter what.

Lucci to me seems very genuine and approachable.

I always laugh uncontrollably when I watch the scenes of her throwing herself on Mona's coffin. That's some of the WORST acting I've ever seen on soaps. I've often wondered if Lucci hated the woman who played Mona in real life. LOL!

And about Sarah Michelle Gellar...think of Sarah like Rosie O'Donnell and then think of Susan like Barbara Walters. One is all about keeping up appearances while the other wouldn't mind imploding the artifice. That was their problem.

At Bill Bell's funeral MTS wore a black dress. Sounds appropriate until you realize that it was black python print. Don't get me wrong, it was a lot more appropriate than it sounds, it was very glam which Bill would have loved. She is over the top and that's why we love her. She IS Nikki!

The answer is invariably NO. Ruth Warrick ALWAYS checked for a cue card. In this scene the cue card likely said "Phoebe looks concerned for Erica's sanity while relishing what a fool Erica is!"

More and more I am starting to think that Victoria Rowell was right. Once you look past her drama- I think there is alot of truth there.

I don't think any actor this year in daytime TOUCHED this guy. He would have won.

It's not just the cast who votes on the pre-noms, it's directors, producers, and others in the production staff as well.

We wouldn't have these types of problems if they simply revamped the system. Then again, the Daytime Emmy's are a joke, and even people inside of the industry are ashamed of it. With the state of daytime dying right before us, I seriously doubt NATAS has even thought of adjusting the system and elimination this absurd pre-nom process. There's ALWAYS going to be politics involved with a process like this.

Oh great. Roger Newcomb is sticking his nose into the Olivia/Natalia storyline on GL. He screwed up the Nuke storyline on ATWT by creating drama where there was none. There was never a kissing ban, but he thought there was and he created drama around it and now he is doing the same thing with the Olivia/Natalia storyline. Ugh! Stay out of it!

Is Susan Lucci a master thespian? No. But she has to have something for the network to keep her on the show (on contract, no less) for 39 years.

Bear in mind, too, SL's career on AMC began at a time when you had to be more than just a hair model to succeed in daytime. ;-)
