Nobody started a thread so I will.

Loved seeing Jerica today- I've missed Jack. Also liked Carmen admitting that Jack still loved Erica. Carmen needs to find her own man. What about Jake?

I can't stand Rylee. How much longer must we put up with this?

Erica needs to back off a bit. She can't tell B/R who to share their wedding with even if it's boring Rylee.

I want Adam to get back with Krystal.

I think Amanda may be pregnant and not know if it's David, Jake's, or now JR's. Anyone else think so?

I love party scenes. We need a lot more of them.

I want Adam and Krystal to get back together as well. I love them together and think that they have great chemistry. Plus he is the only man that really truly loved her. :)

I thought that Angie looked really good today. I really liked the dress that she wearing. I would have liked to see her and David interact together some at the Casino Party. I think it would have been interesting if he would have asked her to dance, and to see how she would have responded to that. I thought it was interesting how she mentioned that she needed to be on her best behavior because of him.

I don't think that we are going to see Carmen anymore.

Petey looked cute, I wish he would give up on Colby, she isn't into him. And she bascially told him that she doesn't like him romantically because of the way that he is and that if he changes himself that isn't going to make a difference to her.

I thought that JR's dancing was kind of funny.

I'm not sure if Amanda and JR slept together or not. I think it's possible that they did.

Yeah, I think Carmen's gone. Seemed like a cheap one-day-after-they've-been-gone-for-months-sendoff that soaps do quite often. If she's gone, Rebecca is about the only free woman left in Pine Valley for Tad.

On a side note, is anyone sick to death of seeing Babe in the opening every day? My god, she's been dead for nearly three months.

What about Taylor/Tad? They seem to have a good banter. I don't know if Carmen is going or staying but I want her away from Jack. That didn't work from day one.

IA that Amanda's kid would be David's too. What if KWAK gets preggers at the same time? Now that could be fun  Actually I wished Jenny was Charlotte and she was Adam's kid.

IA about Babe in the credits. How long did her contract run? I know they keep them there until their contracts end.

I like Tad and Taylor, too. If Brot's contract is short-term and he leaves, they could do a triangle with her and Tad and Jake. But no way would three guys all be after her. I'm sorry, that's too preposterous.

LMAO. Isn't Krystal getting up their in age in terms of birthing years left? Yet somehow, her chest is as young as an 18 year old's.

The last week Alexa was on contract, according to the credits, was 11/3-11/7. Basically, they should've waited two weeks to premiere the opening and left her out. But I think they wanted to make sure she and David were in an opening together. Also, I believe we're waiting on Dre's contract to expire now. As of last week, he was still on. <_<

Note to TBTB, if you want to save money, don't renew contracts you won't use! Then maybe

Thanks AMC for that scene with Bianca and Reese dancing and talking about their wedding. That dialogue showed how gay marriage affects people's lives on a very personal level. Showing the sense of being shut out, the unfairness as Reese said...that our marriage is less, than straight couples. About how Bianca and Reese can only share a symbolic committment until they get to a state where it's legal.

AMC screws up a lot of things but that was forward looking moment in an era where Prop 8 looms large in the culture.

Thanks.

PS-Erica, god I cannot help but love her. She won't have her mind changed by anyone, much like Bianca herself.

Why bring Carmen back just for that. Really. You think they were gonna bring her back, got one episode down the let her go for money reasons or this was just a one day gig? I guess Carmen did add to the chess match of Jack Erica and Adam hijinx which I loved.

Will Rebecca please sit her ass down and let Angie and Jesse be together for one minute? Damn. Poor Angie, happy Rebecca's stabilizing then realizing what that means. What an expressive actor, Debi Morgan is. I've missed the Hubbards.

DrunkOffHisAssJR dances kind of like Elaine on Seinfeld. Now David's got JR and KWAK right where he wants them.

Is it just me or does anyone else love JR and Amanda? Today they won me over as a couple and I had my reservations

I was really upset that Petey said he was going to spend the rest of his life loving and fighting for Colby. Sweet but kind of pathetic especially since she is showing ZERO interest. I wish he'd move on for real already. If and when they do get together, it needs to be bc she is trying to get him, not him hounding her until he wears her down

In what world would Bianca ever want a double wedding with Greenlee. And does anyone really believe that Greenlee as selfish as she is would EVER share her special day with anyone else? Maybe Kendall, but Bianca? Puh leaze!

Seems like someone opened up the Martin attic door and Carmen, Rebecca and Natalia all ran out. LMAO, it seemed as if today was the day that forgotten characters got to come out and play. Let's hope some others manage to escape that attic.

I'm finally caught up for the past two days.

Today's episode epitomized what I was expecting the New Year's shows to be with most of the cast gathered in one place and their individual storylines intertwining.

I'm glad we got to see Angie & Jesse happy for a minute. I also saw chemistry between Jesse & Rebecca for the first time today and I like the twist that Rebecca's cancer might go into remission after all.

This does seem like the end for Carmen now that she's realized Jack still loves Erica. I liked her scene with Randi today and I actually liked Randi comforting Pete about Colby too (never thought I'd say that!).

Opal was in great form as she vowed to stop David, but really, what can she do?

David/Krystal and JR/Amanda have become two of my favorite couples. I can't wait for Tad to come home for the fireworks to begin!

I also appreciated how Bianca & Reese were treated as just another couple at the party. It sucks that they're wedding will be ruined by Ryan/Greenlee, but I loved how Erica pointed out to Bianca that Ryan & Greenlee are a disaster together!

    • Oh wow that’s pretty awesome! I wish I had  approached him but there was so many people
    • In the current environment, while it's small, there is a crumb of good news: Apparently, San Antonio voted for a DEMOCRATIC mayor, Gina Ortiz, beating the "right-hand man" of Gov. • Love this! You are both adorable. Wow
    • I have not gone back to watch much of 1987, but from what I've seen lately, it doesn't feel like the writers or producers had any sort of plan. The show feels as if it's constantly in flux.  I will give it credit for this. It's watchable for the most part minus Lisa/Jamie which I find nearly unwatchable now.   I don't find Cheryl mousy. I think she has a lot of quiet strength, but she was saddled with the Scott romance which the writers did not invest in. She had a good friendship with Julie (also criminally underused), and her interactions with Ada were enjoyable as well. I also like Layman, but Spencer was extremely talented and when Cass returns, Schnetzer and Spencer have some wonderful scenes. Spencer also fits in with Alexander, Hogan, and Marie.  I'd forgotten just how much I missed seeing Wallingford. IT was so good to see him again. Even when they didn't have a major plot, Felicia/Cass/Wallingford/Mitch always brings a smile to my face.
    •   Dani’s cute ass party planner. He gave me some tea but I was so drunk I don’t remember it.
    • NBC must have been grateful to have LHOTP, it's only hit and still strong after several seasons. Their next established show was Rockford Files at 45th. They didn't develop any comedies and relied on movies and mini series  which didnt establish viewer loyalty and habits. Their only new hit was mid season's Project UFO which debuted Feb up against Rhoda/On Our Own on CBS and How the West Was Won on ABC. It opened with a strong 36 share beating CBS and close to ABC as HTWWW had a 36 share over 3 hours. The next week UFO saw a respectable 32 share, then a 31 so it was slipping. A 28 share followed but a few weeks later it jumped back up to a 34. So no blockbuster but compared to what else they had, there was potential, So next season NBC sent it to Thursday up against Mork and The Waltons and it bombed.  They were smart to see potential in Chips, which took off on Saturdaysnext season. ABC was on a roll with Love Boat, 3's Company, Taxi, Eight is Enough adding to their hits. Their only real flops were Redd Foxx and San Pedro Beach Bums, an Aaron Spelling misfire. Like Redd Foxx, Harvey Korman was lured to ABC but his series was a filler that did well but was considered a time slot hit. Nancy Walker and Rob Reiner were also given series on the philosophy that not only were they popular names, their absence from popular shows like Sanford, Rhoda and All in the Family might weaken those shows. CBS were relying on old favorites. Betty White was strong the first few weeks then faded. Incredible Hulk was their strongest newbie. It was lucky for CBS that NBC was doing so badly or else some of their weaker shows would have really suffered.
    • That outfit looks like something Martin would wear lol.
    • Omg not we both ran into people from the show this weekend!
