I hope everyone has a good week.

I really think OLTL is on the downward slope again-

I think the last 5 weeks were 2.2, 2.1, 2.1, 2.1, 2.0?

I am predicting a 1.9 or an all time low of 1.8.

I figure that AMC will start beating OLTL again by .1 on a weekly basis.

That's what I am feeling.

Probably a 3.6 for Y&R.

GH will probably get a 2.2 and AMC a 2.0.

I bet DOOL drops to a 2.0

Really? I don't watch the show but DOOL seems to me the only soap with true bounceback potential.

It still has fans that tune back in, and its demos are surprisingly strong.

I wouldnt be surprised if the ratings werent so good last week. Alot of people didnt even realize there was a show on Friday bc many were preempted Wed and Thurs

I dont know how it is with other soaps, but any strides DOOL makes get taken back a week later. It would be nice to see another increase, though.

I remember when all the shows use to get a push during the holidays. That unfortunately doesn't happen anymore.

I expect AMC to do well if only because people would have tuned in for the Myrtle tribute episode.

I wouldnt put too much stock on that.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for GL to continue ticking up - it's improved a lot in the last weeks, I'm just afraid the "on air learning curve" of the production model has driven folks away permanently and we'll never see the 1.7 to 1.9 range again...

I think this week most or some of the soaps will be down. It usually happens the week before the Christmas break.
