Is an East Coast EP getting fired?

Daytime Confidential's sources haven't always been reputable, so I guess we have to take this with a grain of salt. They're making it sound as if Lisa de Cazotte will soon EP an East Coast soap, my guess is they're referring to ATWT, since EP's have very little power at ABC and GL is stuck with Wheeler until cancellation.

We're hearing a former West Coast-based executive producer is in talks to take over the helm of a Gotham-based sudser. Rumor has it, the exec— who recently impressed the industry with a short-run cable series he or she helmed— will be brought on as a "second-in-command" to the soap in question's much lamented current executive producer, who will then take a "leave of absence". Don't believe the spin– if the network can get the West Coaster to sign on the dotted line, they will eventually boot their schizophrenic soap's current executive producer.

Lisa  She did start her soap career at OLTL, and she does have ties to AMC too. Don't think it's ATWT cause I think P&G is happy with their EPs.

I hope it's not OLTL. Things are stable there (as far as we know, and as far as what we see on the screen).

It's gotta be ATWT or AMC. Wheeler is at GL until the death knell sounds.

Would ABC really change their EP's though? I thought all their EP's did was handle production matters and had very little say in story matter, at least since Frons came to ABCD. That's probably why Phelps, Carruthers, and Valentini have been employed for so long.

Then again, Lisa was just Reilly's executor on Passions and was likely the same thing for Rao at GH:NS

EPs don't mean anything at ABC anymore. It has to be CBS.

My bet is AMC! I'm shocked Carruthers has hung on this long and i think Mr.Pratt has a frim grip on whatever happens at AMC.

If it's true do u think they'll stop loading up on GL actors and start getting ex Passion stars?

If true Carruthers faves may be heading for less airtime!

Oh Gawd...could it be possible that Goutman is on his way out!!??? :D It sure sounds like him. But knowing ATWT's luck it wont be Goutman out!

Unfortunately I think Frons is happy with Carruthers at the helm at AMC. If she did leave, he'd just give more power to Pratt(shudders at the thought)

I'm pretty sure the EP is joining ATWT.

GL? No way. Same goes for OLTL AMC.

I doubt it's for OLTL or AMC. I just don't see Carruthers or Valentini being replaced. As much as I want Ellen Wheeler's ass fired - GL is a lost cause. That being said, it's gotta be ATWT.

The key clue is "schizophrenic soap".

I do not believe it is the P&G shows, because new EPs cost money. (They want all kinds of guarantees in terms of how many actors they can bring, etc. etc.). P&G will stick with their two EPs until renewal decisions are made for both. If those renewal decisions come with further cuts, P&G will still stick with their EPs. If their EPs quit, P&G will replace them "from within", promoting lower ranked people.

Therefore, it is an ABC soap. This makes further sense since Hesser De Cazotte did her last stint on an ABC soap (GH:NS), and Frons saw how she worked wonders.

So, now, "schizophrenic". In its correct use it means "disorganized". In its (incorrect) popular use it means multiple personalities.

'Nuff said. Which show has the largest number of on-canvas "DID" (actual, and pretended-to-have) characters?

Your wrong it has to be Goutman! :P Why would AMC or OLTL want to change EPs now??
