It will be interesting to see whether there is movement in the polls (whatever polls are worth) once the debates begin.

The current occupant of the WH continues to mix personal business with his position in the Oval office.

A writer for Vox, Carlos Maza, made a series of tweets about how he has been insulted and demeaned in racist and homophobic ways on the podcast of an alt right "comedian" and "activist." He has been doxxed, harassed, every video he makes is overrun by hate. They even sell T-shirts that, in a very "clever" way (clever if you're about 12), call him a f*g.

Youtube/Google, unsurprisingly, did little to respond, until they finally decided to demonetize his channel until he made several changes.

Of course this makes him a hero and a martyr to the far right, with the likes of Ted Cruz and !@#$%^&*] Carlson all over him.

And now, as yet another reminder that the far left is often no better, and is just as happy to support bigotry and threats if it gets them what they want, we have Glenn Greenwald:

This is just obscene. Not only is he dismissing Maza's harassment, he's also pulling the old "nobody's had it worse than lil ol me" card that is so effectively used to minimize abuse and bullying.

Men like Greenwald still have too much respect and power among many who only read surface level material and see them as some kind of heroes who stood up to the DNC. And that is going to be used, over and over again, in this election.

This came across my timeline and although I already knew most of the information presented in this clip, I found that exchange between Warren and Biden to be pretty interesting.

Why was Trevor Noah giving Elizabeth Warren [!@#$%^&*] for asking her husband to marry her (rather than the other way around) or for thinking he had great legs?  That is such a sexist attitude (as if men never marry women just to get them in the sack!) and totally Not. The Point.

Yeah, that was trying too hard to be snarky and jokey.  I don't watch the show very often but, like I said, this came across my timeline and the clip of her interaction with Biden was what caught my eye as I had never seen it before.

Yeah, Warren was CLEARLY getting under his tanned skin because she had the audacity to come to the table with facts and logic -- which you're not supposed to do as a woman, obviously.  I loved it.

Chua is nothing but a madam. She taught women how to dress to appeal to Kavanaugh and get work with him. Nothing but dirty.
