I can't stand Cuomo, but Nixon's crew blaming high Democratic voter turnout on losing is peak Bernie Sanders.

I wish Bernie and his contingent would stop trying to make their revolution happen.  It's not going to happen.

I probably would've voted for Nixon if I was still in NY, but her campaign made a number of mistakes and I am so, so, so tired of the angry white progressive journos whining and gnashing their teeth on Twitter every time their guy/girl loses and making it an all or nothing proposition.

Yes, Cuomo sucks.

Yes, I would've voted for Nixon.

Yes, she made major mistakes.

And yes, the will of the actual public has to be acknowledged and not condescended to or blamed. You don't get to blame Democratic voters for actually coming out and voting Democratic.

It's like what we always say about voters, especially those on the left and far-left, engaging in some ridiculous "purity Olympics" (tm @marceline?).  No candidate, I have learned, will ever be perfect.  But picking off every candidate with even the slightest flaw is what got us where we are now w/ Trump.

The Intercept world always seems to focus on the most contrived conspiracies - I saw that someone who works with them was saying that Sean Patrick Maloney ran for NY AG to block Zephyr Teachout and how his Congressional district is now "likely R" because he quit.

Ronan Strikes Again - at Kavanaugh.

Just this will not be enough to stop Kavanaugh - the GOP will go for a 'boys will be boys' spin which, even if the media hammers them, will not stop their vote. The only thing that can stop him is if there's a lot more, or if the pressure on Murkowski and Collins gets even more intense (voters have been on them, to their credit).

Meanwhile, in Manafort news:

Ugh - it won't even stop him.

I know 'DiFi' is hated by many on the left but I understand her hesitation.

She's hated by the extreme left.  She's going to win overwhelmingly in California BUT

This reeks of Anita Hill and I am old enough to be glued to the TV with my mom and hating her treatment by the white male dais. Why I can't ever vote for Biden(my vote in 2008/2012 was 1000% for Obama)

I would like to know exactly why she held onto this other than to protect the author.
