As I said earlier, throughout the years, during heightened news events, there have occasionally been random people posting incorrect pictures or old pictures, or mislabeled pictures from unrelated events.
(And nowadays faked A.I. images are added to all of that).
so it's important to verify with several sources to see if it's real.

Here's the latest example:
Fact Check: Video of 2003 assault on Iraq miscaptioned as Afghanistan 2026

So, IOW, we (and Israel) have accomplished nothing in Iran (not even securing our oil resources over there - which, I suspect, has been this administration's motivation all along). In fact, we've made a very bad situation even worse, jeopardizing hundreds of thousands of lives, and potentially plunging us all into another war (that will drag on for years and resolve nothing).

Good to know.

personal opinion:

I don't believe Tr*mp and his U.S. administration.
They lie and also want to kill/deport/defund/and put people in concentration camps, and make money off of it.

I don't believe Netanyahu.
He has committed genocide on Gaza to empower himself.

I don't believe Iran state media.
Within recent months, that government killed thousands of protesters.

I don't believe any of these lying murderers.

/end rant

When I heard that James Talarico had won the primary, I was disappointed, but not surprised.

Even if we manage to rid ourselves of the current administration and get out from under the GOP's death grip, we're too shell-shocked, for lack of a better word, to keep moving toward a government that reflects our country's unique ethnic and racial makeup. For the next generation or more, it's gonna be back to pitting nondescript white male vs. nondescript white male in most elections; and those of us who wanted real change will just have to hold our noses and vote.

IOW, Talarico's victory is just a sign of things to come - for the left AND for the right.
