After the recent changes in their policy regulations, now they openly allow all kinds of discrimination and harassment based on sexual orientation, gender and etc... I just don't feel okay being in that platform. Not that I ever felt safe there... but recently... even basic pop music posts are full of homophobic comments. You can't even like a photo of Lady Gaga without seeing them. You can't escape them. They are everywhere. I'm so sad that in 2025 people can get away with writing comments like this. I open some of these profiles that call men like me and my husband... all kinds of names... and I see - mothers... teachers... people who you meet at the supermarket at the counter... all kinds of normal looking people who are unleashing their homophobia and hatred with all the freedom you can imagine. It gets to a point I ask myself why am I part of a platform that doesn't delete all these comments. Any time I report any disgusting homophobic comment I get a response that they haven't violated any rules. Every single time. Well... OK... Then this is just... Goodbye for me. There is always a sneering from leftists about these protests, as many of them hate women and love Trump, but they are key to any future - whatever we have left of it. Tim Walz and other Democrats are using Kamala's comment to "well actually" and relitigate more reminders of how awful a campaign the party ran. They can say this all they want, but even if it wasn't a great campaign (and I'd agree it wasn't - although it was decent, especially given the time constraints and baggage), the voting public was not waiting for some bullet points, either from the James Carville peak early '90s era or from the socialist buzzword era of Bernie and the grifters. Most of the public voted for hate and bigotry and death. They love it. Even now many are cheering these tariffs, blatantly saying it's because they want people they hate (anyone who isn't a rich white straight man) to die.
