Loved the ending. You know, I know this is a soap, and I know I shoul dbe loving it, but for some reason Charlie transforming Carlotta's diner (which I believe we've had as a set since it was Wanda Wolek's in the 80s?) into a time capsule tribute to Vicki and his first meeting place just feels bizarre, and even for some reason I can't place kinda distateful. I'm sure it's just me, but I had to get that off of my chest (plus there's no way they could completely transform the whole shape and style of the building which was burned but not destroyed. Just had to get that off my chest

I totally agree. I thought the whole diner thing was a big slap in the face to fans of Carlotta, the character and the whole family of the Vegas. To me, it's Ron wanting to focus on his "new shiny characters" that people seemed to like, and not focus on the history of the show. To me, it says that there's isn't that focus on the diner and the Vegas and the diversity of the show.

OTOH, that's how the Vegas got their diner. The space was taken from Wanda's. That happens on soaps over the years.

The Vegas have seriously run their course. And the actors playing the brothers are icky icky icky. One can't act and the other just plain bugs me!

That's right OLTL take the diner- and next ditch the actors PLEASE!!!

I do like Carlotta though.

Actually, ever since the Diner randomly burned down after David Vickers The Human accidentally set fire to it back in July or so, I feel it just screams cutting one set...granted its just replacing it with another set they don't have around that often because its only showed up in those guest appearances since Viki left Paris, TX, but thats JMO.

Another new opening today. Started with the new shot of Rex that we saw yesterday.

I just saw! I can't wait for tomorrow's show Was Charlie really in it? I missed him. They added Shane, too. And is Langston next to Dorian? I don't remember, but a lot of people are going to be ecstatic if she is.

Yes, it is how the Vegas have the diner (gawd, I miss Wanda a LOT) but it was still a diner. And it had a signifiance in the Angel Square area. Now we've just got a bad recycle of a set as they attempt to re-do the first Texas storyline, not something new. IMO oponion it's a combo of whitewashing of the show with trying to recapture a storyline popularity again.
