First of all, Heather Tom's last scene on Y&R was fabulous. That music, the cold winter night, the tears and the closing title card. Amazing.

I actually like the Winters drama...I agree that Tyra should not be thrown at Neal romantically, she should be more of a sister to him. I prefer him with Nia Peebles.

What great interviews. It is nice to see a soap with so many people who care about each other. You could always tell at awards shows when Y&R would win various awards, that the cast (generally) truly loved each other. They would go CRAZY when "one of their own" won...

On a really stupid note- Gloria's lazy eyelid is BUGGING ME SO MUCH! I know that can be an aftereffect of eye work-

Daytimefan- What can we do about Gloria's lazy eyelid!?!?!?!?!

Those interviews in SOD are great...with the way Beth, Marla and Tricia responded...PLEASE Lee Phillip Bell, dig into your piggy bank and give these three permanent recurring gigs!

Gloria's lazy eyelid might be the result of Botox...if it is it'll wear off in 3-6 months. If it's the result of surgery...it'll take a revision and even then...

^^^"Katherine's."

With all these EXCEPTIONAL returns, I'm wondering what ever happened to Carolyn Conwell as Mary Williams. That's one character I miss a ton! IMO she was the best meddler on Y&R! Her sparring with Michael and then Isabella was awesome.

Oh yes! I have felt her absence ever since Heather came to town. You KNOW Mary would be all over that girl, trying to run her life.

I found it odd that Paul would be alone on Turkey Day. No mention of his mama.

Since I have been on record about my desire for Andrea Evans to come to the show (as Patty Williams and Amber's mom Tawny Moore--the same person, with Tawny being the new identity Patty assumed when she tried to leave behind the ghosts of Genoa City and her marriage to Jack Abbott), that truly only makes sense if Mary is around to react to all of it...especially react to having AMBER as a granddaughter. (Can't you just see her wrinkle her nose with disgust?). I miss Mary unrelentingly.

But, since we're slowly getting Paul back...I have some hope.

This is truly odd. I am in the US, but this yr.globaltv.com site is NOT blocked. Hmmmmmm. These kinds of sites are ALWAYS blocked for IPs coming from other countries.

When will they put "today's" episode (i.e., Canada's day-ahead episode) up? I can't believe they'll put it up in a way where US residents can see it before it hits CBS.

    • He joined Julian in Bermuda when he getting a divorce from Ivy. And, was the one who tricked Theresa and Julian in to believing that they had gotten married there. That would be nice.  That was such a good book, and it was too bad that the show retconned it so much. I still have my copy somewhere.
    • Instead of Febreze, Eva pulled a few tissues of Puffs and cried into them. Hayley comes in with a pack of Always and is like "Well, Bill turns out I'm not pregnant." Andre and Derek sharing a bottle of Pepto after eating Ashley's cooking. Vernon and Anita drinking up their Metamucil.
    •   I liked the actress who played Tina. She was not the typical soap hire. I hadn't thought of her in many years until I saw a Spauldingfield video of her. It makes sense if they were planning to make her Frank's daughter as she was tied to the Coopers and nothing else was done with her beyond singing and the relationship with Marcus that Rauch never cared about. David was hurt by Monti Sharp leaving the role. I don't blame Monti for leaving, as he was getting less and less to do, but Russell Curry was a very generic actor was too old for the part. Yes, black don't crack, but he was nearly 40. When David returns at the end of the decade they cast an actor who was a little too young, which just shows how little interest the show had in the character or black characters in general (and random recasting would return with the Boudreauxs). Marcus is a character who got a lot of buzz early on and then the show lost interest (again).  Anyway, if you stay watching, be warned that the Hart/Dinah/Roger stuff gets worse and worse. Luckily you don't have the same lengthy ties to the show so it may be OK for you. It made me feel a bit sick at the time.

    • I just find her obnoxious and I need somebody to start checking her (other than Bill) without couching it in you’re so strong and wonderful and Bill did you so wrong. Even Anita pulls punches with her. Her personality would definitely rub some people the wrong way and I hope once the canvas evolves beyond Dupreeland, she gets some adversaries who aren’t villains or 90-lb. weaklings like Haley.
    • Wow.... Anita and Dani are the ultimate symbol of mean girls.   I hate to tell this to Dani... but Eva's ability to do hair is a much more coveted job and skill than Dani's modeling.   I doubt Dani could cut it if she lost her money and was truly forced to start over from square 1.
    • -- That scene was a mess because of Sheila. Why would Bill go To that pizza dump? And why would he tolerate Sheila sitting at his table for even 5 seconds? -- Also a mess? Liam's dialogue. Telling $Bill how much he admires and respects him was hilarious! Then it went on! "Your presence, your guidance and influence...you made me a man. You made me THIS man." Jesus.
    • Not FOOTBALLERS' WIVES!!!! TASTE, DARLING. LOVE IT. Cool!!!
    • I can't help but think that this was a Ron/Jamey plot, that Paula/Jeanne just decided to run with.  Hopefully, it'll be written better than what we've had to endure previously. Roman runs it, and she helps. Interesting. I felt a similar way every time Ben called Charlie, 'Chuck'
