I'm guessing the morning after pill?

Let me just say that I'm loving how the drama of Todd and Marty has seemed to haved flowed over to the hospital. Michael Easton hasn't surprised me though (last time he did that was when he supposedly flashed a smile, this guy is as bad Steve Burton). Despite that, Susan Haskell, Trevor St. John, Kassie DePaiva, and even Brandon (Cole) and Hillary(Nora) have impressed me.

Yeah kudos to the people who designed it. It was definitely "unique".

I think the show has been incredible. The scenes where everyone is finding out what Todd did; magnificent. And I thought HBS was wonderful in those Todd and Marty scenes. She didn't have many lines, but without her there, it wouldn't be the same. The Jessica and Natalie scenes were well done as well. I don't like when Archer goes over the top, but in her heartfelt scenes, she really brings it. I buy the sisterly connection between Jess and NAt.

Loved Blair trying to explain to Star what Todd did and was planning to do. And of course, Diva Strasser was perfection. But I think that of any scene she is in :) Even when she isn't in many scenes, she draws to me to the show.

The only snorefest for me was the Rex and Gigi scenes; just don't find them interesting.

That was actually far better than I expected it would be. And I really liked that set for some reason. The cage and the broken mirror shards that displayed Jared and Natalie's images. I thought it was all really interesting. I also liked Bess and Tess interacting. It was intriguing that these two alters seem to know each other very well. I was really impressed, quite frankly. Far Far superior than anything I could have anticipated.

I loved the scenes with the Twins. I was shocked that I felt that sisterly vibe again. I realize "emmy worthy" performances by definition mean a lot of wailing, and hair pulling and that sort of thing. But I guess that's why I laugh about the emmy awards. That sort of material only comes along on rare occasion so I have greater appreciation for the performers like KDP, HBS, MA, BW who create these characters that are so genuine day after day. That's the challenge to me, since I too am here day after day.

Today was representative of what got me into RC's work in the first place: A series of character duets that were simple, non-flashy "meat and potatoes" character storytelling. It was all very solid. And the baby switch could work if it stays as innovative as it is right now - that is to say, not innovative at all, but rather focusing on Jessica exploring how her own disease works. Tess and Viki's debate about DID was fascinating.

Agreed except that I find the whole literalness of the "alter locks one up" scenes both ridiculous, bizerre and cheap. Horrible--funny they neve rhad to resort to such sscenes for Vicki's '95 story.

Yep that's the direction they're going. I like his character a lot but don't really see them paired personally

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
