Just wanted to say that back in 1992, JER made Days a Must-See. I remember watching with my PACKED dorm as John Black and Marlena began their affair on the private jet that was going to spirit him out of Salem. The entire college collectively screamed. And remained glued to the show for years afterwards. A real bonding experience. I'll never forget the peeps I met there -- and the SLs on Days at the time which were absolutely, compulsively watchable. So, for that, thank you, James E. Reilly. And RIP, you rogue.

Wow... just wow. This is unbelievable. No matter what you thought of Reilly -- and it's certainly well known how polarizing he was -- this is still a big tragedy.

Condolences to his family and friends, RIP Mr. Reilly. He certainly did big things in soaps, no matter what else you may think.
