Y&R: Interesting Chloe Spumor

On this past Friday's US show, did anyone else pick up on the fact that Chloe was against the idea of Jill throwing the engagement party at the Chancellor estate, insisting it be moved to a different location?

This Chloe spumor even showed up on usenet today...which rarely shows such stuff (unless I post it :) ).

This is spreading pretty virally, but I still concur that it is bunk. I'll be disappointed if they go there, even if it has promise. My main reason for disappointment is, as said here, I don't believe Kay wouldn't know her namesake, or that Esther would not be in close touch with Kate.

Kate is going by Chloe. 2nd maybe Katie "Chloe" is mad at her maid mother for something. So they haven't kept in contact.

This is so lame. Your telling me Chloe's has been in town for what seven months and no ones noticed she was Kate? I'm supposed to believe Kay hasn't seen her or at least a picture of her since she was a baby and that's why she didn't know who she was? Sorry, I can't except that.

This is bull. It goes against Chloe's entire backstory that we learned when we first met her. Her parents owned a dry cleaners in New York's garment district and she used to hang around when she wasnt at school and admire all the clothes and that's how she got into fashion as a career. She told Lily all of this. Chloe's the type of character who, if she was going to lie about being a maid's daughter, would come up with a lot better of an excuse than "my parents were dry cleaners".

I hope this is true because it would be an interesting story, but I hope it isn't true because that would mean someone at TWOP (the sewer of soap opera forums) was right about something.

I think it's quite good still.

When Kevin was in town for months, Michael never knew about his brother, and that worked out well.

How about Chloe being Jack's daughter with Patty Williams? LH has great chemistry with Peter Bergman. I would find that easier to believe than Chloe being Esther's daughter.

That would be an amazing twist anbd bring Patty back for heather's ilness storyline (if they do it...).

But i honestly dont see an issue with her being Kate.

Neither do I guess. All it will take is one or two well-written scenes to convince me :)

I've always hoped that Amber and her twin sister were Jack's daughters by Patty since both Patty and Tawny B&B were played by Andrea Evans. Patty shot Jack before leaving town and if she was pregnant again she might have been scared that he'd turn her into the police and steal her baby from her. Therefore she moved to a trailer park and changed her name!
