I won't miss Bianca. She's been on a stale merry-go-round for years, and as such, has lost all warmth in the process. If Patsy hadn't of quit, we'd be stuck with Bianca for years. Interestingly, Sonia is a much better written character this time around. Softer and warmer edges, more sympathetic, less stale than she previously was - and I say this as someone who hated Sonia.

Prince, Danny (Lucy's ex/the guy Johnny kissed) has already exited. I've always been a big Gary Lucy, so I was sad that he wasn't sticking around. He seemed like he could be a fun bi-sexual cad type of character.

Whitney not being okay with Johnny being gay was never the story. It was a beat played which led to Terry and Bianca's break up. That said, I really hope Terry sticks around when Bianca goes, who, unlike people here, I will definitely miss. Kirkwood was terrible with her, but ever since she came back with Terry she's been watchable again and she'll always be one of my favourites. I just hope she at least takes Tiffany with her. IMost of the time I despise children, but Morgan can stay just because of that scene where he told Carol she could always come to him when she needed a hug.

I think it's just fanfic dressed up as a story "leak".

DTC has said that only 4 people know who the killer is. He has also said that the lead up to Christmas and NYE will have viewers second guessing who the killer is, so no reveal of the killer's identity until February 2015.

Also, a plot outline does not look like that. If you know the apparent next 6 months (which makes it October time, not NYE) of story, then you will know the motive for Lucy's death.

So, the 30th anniversary storyline will probably be about a murder reveal then?

In other news, I still miss Queen Janine. I'm glad she got the exit she got, but this is one character I think carried the show over huge chunks of the widely shaky past couple of years.

    • I do not think I have ever agreed with Vee. Normally I do not read him, Ignore ya know. For some unknown reason I clicked to read. And I agree 1000%. Now, this is so odd that I need to go away for a bit.
    • Justine had a lot of hooey in it, but she was an actual woman, not a guy in drag. She was a doppelganger of Rachel, French, having had a past history with Carl, etc. Two of the more outrageous parts-Justine bricking alive Vicky into a wall & Justine grinding the gears driving a big rig.
    • Hehe, twi/x actually x, formerly Twitter. Typically I find 2 sources for "crazy fan rumors" - the wrong parts of FB and x. Oy.
    • Not to hijack the thread, but was that character Justine? I just found this interview online with Logan and see what you're talking about - wow!   http://www.anotherworldhomepage.com/chat85.html
    • My bad….ill fix that  Fixed
    • Where do you discover this crazy rumor??
    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.
