Is the show setting some sort of record for how many soap characters are in prison at one time? I thought Eastenders did that when they had Den and Nick Cotton in jail together but this seems to be three or four characters.

I'm happy Tony is back, I just wish they hadn't painted him into such a corner.

I'm at the point where there are only about two or three people in Underworld I wouldn't mind seeing get bumped off.

I like the Underworld crew for the most part. Carla's grown on me, I don't hate Nick as much as I did about a month ago (he can still go, though, please). I like the machinists for the most part, though I'm not a fan of Izzy's yet, and Sean and Fiz can be harpy, but I can tolerate them most of the time. I flove Janice.

So have you all heard about Jack P Shepherd (David) cheating on the mother of his child? This is a pretty crappy article, but it basically lays out the details, though the pregnancy thing is still sketchy. He's publicly apologized for his adultery, though the pregnancy wasn't mentioned.

I'm sure Helen Worth's gonna give him a few unkind words. Her husband screwed around on her twice, so she must have a low tolerance for cheaters.

I can't take Sean. Fiz is OK but she gets shrill. I like Julie but they seem to have given up on her. I like Izzy and I like Janice and I like Carla, but otherwise it's hard to care. And Nick makes my skin crawl.

I've heard about that. Apparently he was at the party with Ryan Thomas and Adam Thomas, but she chose him? Odd...

I guess he was cast as the "hunk," simply b/c he got naked a lot on Footballer's Wives - that, and Kim Crowther seems to love him. Interestingly, if they hadn't of recast Nick with Adam Rickett all those years ago, the character may not be seen as a hunk to begin with. Anywho, Ben Price is totally wrong for the part, and I wish they would recast again.

She was at the party with Adam Thomas, who she met through a mutual friend, called Scott, who apparently hangs out with all the actors. From the article, it seems he chose her, as she apparently didn't want anything to do with him, as he was with his girlfriend. They're both as bad as each other, really - he cheated; both had unprotected sex; she sold her story. Real classy.

I didn't find the Siege Week promo on YouTube, but it is up at Soap Scoops, on DS, near the end.

I did stumble across this pretty cool promo from 2003, about Richard Hillman, and his next victim.

I don't see the point of starting HD when most of your scenes are set in jail or in a brown courtroom.

I liked the way Gail was with her cellmate, stroking her hair. I still wish they could bring her onto the Street.

All the stuff with Tony's escape was somewhat campy and the court stuff was not too good until Tina testified. I have gone off Tina with the Graeme stuff but damn was Michelle Keegan good in those court scenes.

Did it seem like almost everyone was overacting because they were in a big episode?

Getting ready to watch yesterday's episodes later on, but I did skim through. Tony and his BFF on the bike looks like it will be unintentionally hilarious, as well as the fact that he's in sweatpants.

And they changed the End of Part One music! No! That was the perfect music for that part of each episode!

MTV's Floribama Shore Kirk Medias is dead at 33 years old.
    • Of course, sexy silver fox Dr. Jeffrey Russell has to be in cahoots with EJ so that Kayla's morals don't look selfish and skewed when she is completely in the wrong in letting Steve accidentally on purpose look at the important hospital files. Anyone find it funny that a handful of characters slurred their words today?  I can't quite explain it, but sometimes, like today, I feel like Deidre Hall plays scenes too light or passive, for lack of a better word. She's definitely more known as a charismatic personality than powerhouse actress compared to her soap diva counterparts from other soaps, but I just wish she could give me more. I did, however, like that her scenes with EJ got a 'to be continued...' about Belle. Maybe then I'll see more of what I want from her. Have Shawn and Johnny literally ever had a scene together before today? If they start having Sarah in a scene where she connects with literally any other Horton, then I'll be really impressed.  I'm glad they went through the trouble of explaining why EJ bid on Cat. It made enough sense, and I laughed when Chad spit out his asking about it as soon as humanly possible.

    • But Leslie is doing it all for her daughter.

Such a liar. Great episode but Martin needs to be recast. He hasn't improved. I didn't feel anything for him because of his acting and the writing. He has been so isolated from Ted and Nicole that he doesn't seem like their son, much less family. Leslie is pure evil. She wants Ted and the house and the riches that go with it. She doesn't care about Eva. I felt really bad for Eva.
    • I dont understand the motivation behind it. Eva is her link to Ted and the Duprees and without her, she has nothing. It would have served better for Eva to be all fed up with her and leave the house on her own and Leslie try to make amends bc she needs her for this comeup she's been talking about. Eva can repair her relationship with Ted and maybe build something with the Duprees and cut her out
    • So good today Dante is overreacting blaming gio Hopefully Danny will come clean
    • Not mad at Leslie Locking Eva out, I think it's important for the audience to see her on her own for a while. Curious how scrappy and savvy she becomes on her own. Yeah, I am with you there. It feels a bit hollow; maybe if she was talking to Martin and Kat I would feel better about it. There must be more to this story. Daphnee and Ambyr owned this episode. Tugging my heart in every scene. Nicole process hurt and anger much differently than Dani though.
    • I also really enjoyed Eva's scenes with Kat today. They have an interesting chemistry. I thought it really did feel a bit like sisters at conflict. Especially with the way that Eva was trying to convince Kat to forgive Ted and them both coming to the conclusion that the man they thought was their father was different wasn't who they really thought he was initially. And the way that Eva broke down when Kat said that she was dead to her was emotional stuff. I really do think that in spite of their conflict/bickering Eva really would have loved to have gained a sister, along with a brother, father, etc... Also, I thought it was interesting how Eva kept saying that she loves Ted and Nicole. That and Leslie mentioning that Kat/Eva are almost twins really does make me wonder if Kat may really be her twin and Nicole's as well. I would gladly welcome that outcome, even if it takes a while for it to come out. At this point Leslie doesn't deserve Eva as a daughter as far as I'm concerned. And I would forward to a storyline where we found out that she's Nicole's second baby girl, and all the complex and ultimately happy feelings that would bring Nicole. Eva/Kat could still have a rivalry, especially if Nicole ended up doing some more bonding with Eva. And then we could get the rest of the family's reaction to that as well.
