I read the 4th Sookie Stackhouse book this weekend (Dead To the World) and it's really making me want Sookie/Eric. Somehow I don't think that's the direction AB is headed in though. Thankfully, we have a new episode this week.

I hear you. I promise not to spill a word, although the series is very different. I couldn't spill on this season anyway since I can't find my copy of Dead in Dallas and refuse to buy another (it's here somewhere!). I actually wish I had read the books first, but oh well. I can be just as happy with a Lafeyyete/Eric hook up (Spec not spoiler), if the dynamic is the same.

I LOVED this episode. Bill's expression (embarrassed father of a teen) was hilarious when Jessica made that kidnapper yell out in the hotel. Hoyt and Jessica are cute.

Jason had the best line of the night "Evil is making the premedicated choice to be a dick."

I felt bad for Lettie May. She should have bailed Terra out, but I think she really thought she was doing the best thing and is trying to make up now.

Eric  When he and Bill were in the hotel lobby and Eric said "I care for others", be still my heart. I wonder if he saved Lafayette for Sookie or himself.

I liked Terra and Lafayette's scene as well.

I wonder what's up with Daphne. Is she a conscious minion of Maryanne's or is she an unwitting accomplice/victim?

Video interview with Alexander Skarsgard (Eric):

I liked the part where he talks about how into the show Alan Ball is. Plus he's looking really cute and casual in this interview. He has such a cute smile.

So is Maryann the clawed beast?

And when Jessica called for that male prostitute to be straight and B-Pos (or whatever)...is she going to f*ck him, bite him, or both? What's in it for him?

Who is the thought-reading bellboy?

Yes, Maryann is the beast. I think Jessica was just going to feed off the prostitute. I assume he gets paid for it and that he is a fangbanger who likes it.

I don't know who the bellboy is. I think he's just one of Sookie's kind and she's just thrilled to know she isn't alone.

So exactly is the clawed beast that has "sexual powers"? Anyone have any ideas?

That's what I think too.

Those coffins that Bill and Jessica arrived in at the airport were pretty cool looking. LOL at Jessica, "How the hell do I open this thing???" And then playing with the guy's (from Breaking Bad)mind. She's awesome. :)

I also liked the exchange with Jason and the James Lafferty (Nathan on One Tree Hill) look-a-like that went something like: "God will punish those who have done us wrong" "Well, then explain Europe." I thought that was funny.

And humping the couch, and doing the "worm" and yelling "Vegas, baby, Vegas!!"

    • I have watched the scene where Vanessa reads the letter and it's lovely, but I'm really glad now that I never got around to watching the funeral. Henry ADORED Nola! He treated her like a daughter and Stacy like a granddaughter. That's why Vanessa couldn't stand her. He was crazy about all the Reardons. He spent a lot of time at the boarding house. He and Bea--they never explicitly said it was romantic, but they certainly were loving friends. This sounds worse than Bert's funeral. I really did not think that was possible.
    • It always bothered me from the start that Nicole just took Mona's suggestion and never checked references.  A real psychiatrist would have done more before hiring someone. ** I like that Kat's reporter/investigative type instincts caused her to be suspicious of Eva from the start, and to try to spy on Eva and catch her as weeks went by. However, I think that Kat's so focused on what Eva did wrong -- that she won't see that Leslie is the master manipulator, making some things appear different than they actually are. I hope that Shanice's natural snoopy nature will get her to figure out what actually happened to Laura, and who really caused all the problems. *** edit to add: The show never specified what Mona's job was for Nicole.  Home manager?  Office manager?  Head personal assistant?  I'm sure there would have been a title?    Mona asserted today her upset with Eva and with Leslie.  That they used her and ruined her reputation.  I just wish I knew what Mona's job was. If Mona was an official manager, then it would have made sense for Nicole to trust the recommendation, if Nicole thought Mona had done a proper hiring procedure.  But if Mona is just an informal helper, then why wouldn't Nicole order a background check?
    • And I'm here for it.   Also...YES, PLEASE.
    • Also, someone knocked over the head (usually in the D Mansion) and imprisoned in the secret tunnel room or whatever it was. I swear that must have happened at least a dozen times the last few years, and each time it drove me crazy!
    • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! And here I am rewatching and...

    • 5-9   Honestly? There's nothing going on. And yet unlike Y&R, I'm not bored. But I just think that's because of the acting going on as they play the beats in this Liam dying storyline. Well, that and the outfits.   If there's anything I'm liking it's the continued drama of Daphne going after Carter and not letting anyone get in her way. Not Brooke. Not Katie. NO ONE.    And while I love TK in those glasses, I am not here for a Brooke/Ridge/Taylee triangle.    And of course, Luna would try to use this Liam mess to get closer to Finn.   Okay week.
    • The acting during those Sarah scenes on Friday was horrific.
    • So true. Their hypocrisy is on another level. When Anita called Ted a coward because he used Bill as a fixer, I almost choked on my Ritz. And Dani calling Ted worse than Bill as a husband because Bill never pretended to be a good person? Then why stay with him for decades and continue to kiss up to him, Dani? I was glad when Bill told Anita he wouldn't be her punching bag. Not for me. I can think of 100 other actors who would have smoking hot chemistry with LB. Lindstrom does not. I see zero chemistry. None. Joey isn't sexy or scary.   -- Mona was awesome today. -- Why was Eva playing cards in the back room of the casino? -- Can they make Anita any more sanctimonious and self-righteous? -- Dani said Anita had Ted shook. LOL. Really?       No. But I see what you're trying to do. This is a SOAP OPERA. Characters HAVE to make mistakes and sin and screw up and cheat. That's the deal. I understand the concern that we have 2 leading Black men who have cheated on their wives. I do. But I also understand that this is SOAPS 101. Are we going to hear complaints every time a Black character messes up???
