I watched a clip of "The City" yesterday. They used the SAME quick cuts. So, for the only other truly urban soap, it is nice to see them come to this update only a decade + late :-)

I hope the "revamp" is gonna be more than this. (I never watched The City, but I sure loved watching Laura Wright skating around in that clip).

me too! lol.

tho i use to watch the city at like 2am on USA

So there are moments I love me Lesli Kay and yesterday was one of them

CMCapture5.jpg

toasting with the bottle I busted out laughing...

Despite my own personal want to see more Steffy and Marcus but glad we didn't get the so I'm more excited to see them, I thought it was a good show. It actually set up a lot of scenes and storylines and points very well. But to me didn't feel like a transition show...

I read a rumor that SF is getting a very meaty storyline very soon.

Stephanie is supposedly suffering from depression

Hopefully it's true. That'd be good.

OMG, I *love* Felicia!

Ditto. Love her. Glad she is finally getting some screen time.

That sounds like an interesting story. Re: Stephanie. She's been on two days in a row, which seems rare these days, so maybe something's developing.

LOL @ the picture of Felicia toasting with the champagne bottle ... I didn't even notice that yesterday. That's what I get for multi-tasking.

Brandon Beemer: OMG, he looks even better than he did on DAYS, if that's possible! He can come and strip naked in my backyard anytime. :D:D

Shirtless Jack Wagner today wasn't all that bad either.

I can't believe I'm typing this, but I'm seeing chemistry between Wagner and Heather Tom, Nick/Katie certainly have more sparks than Nick/Bridget.

I agree. I know Katie and Nick have been forced on us to high heaven, but I do think they at least have chemistry.

That slo-motion basksetball scene between Nick/Katie was baaaaaad.

I though it was random to have slow-motion. I don't know why it was needed. It was really jerky.

Yeah, it wasn't a normal slo-mo...it was a jerky slo-mo. I wonder who decied to do that.

It was fast and slow. It was that same acceleration-then-slow-down that they're using in the exteriors.

They also had a "fade to grey" or "fade to black and white" at the end. I wonder if that will continue.

I really miss Another World's "Knots Landing" endings: the freeze frames. B&B should do that, and turn to black and white. It will be like watching a soap made in film school :-).

I was sure Katie & Nick was going to kiss.

It was good also to see Katie smile. I'm tired of seeing sad face Katie.

I had to think about Bridget and Brooke's conversation for a minute. I forgot all about Brooke and Deacon since Jennifer Finnigan was Bridget back then.

Actually she said she won't be going after Nick again. But I wonder if Bridget was worried about her mother going after Nick again.
