I have to agree with this to an extent. He is clearly being somewhat irrational. I mean how can he say that Brian Frons, unlike BB, would never do anything to hurt his shows, his actors or the ABC fans!?

Oh, I think Guza and JFP have a huge hand in it. In fact I think that's common knowledge, but Frons has done nothing to discourage them. Poor GH doesn't have a good diva over 40, while OLTL is swimming in them. At least Frons seems to allow OLTl to use their older females. That's something I guess.
