My prob with pratt is in ALL his pat writing he seems to REALLY favour revolving around a group of youngish characters justlike we've gotten. I hope he breaks the mould.

I swear I read that Cam originally left AMC in 2002 cause Josh Duhamel was so popular and he didn't like it.

I have a hard time buying that. Especially since Ryan/Gillian were just as if not more so as popular as Greenlee/Leo and Ryan/Kendell had a strong fanbase as well. I don't think that's why Cam left. Ryan had a very large fanbase back then one that could easily rivaled Leo's. No probably not as much. However back then I think they were more on equal footing.

I don't think that's accurate. Esta, Josh, Cam, Alicia and Rebecca all had to climb their way into being lead players and all of them became popular around the same time. 00-02 were their peak years in popularity. That was perhaps the last time period where the teen set on AMC were insanely popular and breeded majorly popular couples continuously. Cam did come on a year before Josh did but he was no less popular. If anything Gillian/Ryan may have arguablly been more popular then Greenlee/Leo and Cam had two incrediably popular couples under his belt: Gillian/Ryan and Kendell/Ryan. Their were soap columinst who even called him golden based on the fact that he was able to sell two couples falling in love so fast.

Ty always sounds like he's talking through a smile, like he's trying to sell advertising. (kind of how Eydie Gorme sings) Doesn't stop him from being good crush material.

That's exactly it. Ty comes off way too fake on that game show. When he and Lippa would host those ABC Soap Preview things, he seemed much more loose and relaxed. I don't think he should do anything scripted unless it's porn.

And I so do not believe that CamMat had/has any animosity towards Josh D. I think he left in 2002 for the same reason most actors and actresses of his then-age leave soaps. They want to try something else.

Well you see... what I read somewhere was Josh accidentally highlighted Cam's script in yellow highlighter instead of pink one day while they were running lines... Cam flipped out, went to Jean Burke and quit right on the spot. I read it somewhere so it must be true. Don't ask me how I know, I just do, okay?

I like Cam myself. He's personable, friendly, hunky and not a bad actor IMO. I am more likely to root for him than JY or TK.
