June 17, 200817 yr Member Why must every person in Genoa City be so damn happy? Extreme actor/fanbase pandering.
June 17, 200817 yr Author Member Extreme actor/fanbase pandering. Eh, whatever it is it's destroying the No. 1 soap. And that's just wrong on so many levels. And I agree, Heinle really doesn't deliver lately. They are even making her (or she decided it herself) to let her work when it's obvious that she's sick lately (did you notice her voice?)
June 17, 200817 yr Member And that's just wrong on so many levels. That's what happens when TPTB let entitled fanbases run rampant. Yeah, she sounds like she's had a bad flu for the past few weeks. AH is not necessarily a bad actress, she's just horribly miscast.
June 17, 200817 yr Member Victoria wouldn't be half bad if AH could actually get angry. She can't even glower right. This basically deserves an own thread... I also find AH - ONCE AGAIN - beyond crapworthy. Girl is payed for her appearances, yet she even acts more lifeless than FauxAwfulAustralianColleen. Those scenes when Vickie shows to her pissy anger side to Sabrina lately... Vickie's love feasts with JT. Emotionless and these two are married. AH is beyond horrid - I'm done with her. B&B's Felicia has also been transformed into a whiny annyoing "My parents belong together"-school girl but Lesli Kay at least shows emotions and acts.
June 17, 200817 yr Member I agree, AH sucks. JG should have fired her the moment he stepped in. She lacks all the fire, passion, and bitchiness HT brought to the role.
June 17, 200817 yr Member Not only is she miscast, but they totally rewrote who Victoria was to fit Amelia. That's all wrong, characters should be in character despite the actors who portray them. Edited June 17, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
June 17, 200817 yr Member That's all wrong, characters should be in character despite the actors who portray them. Harding Lemay would disagree.
June 17, 200817 yr Member Harding Lemay would disagree. I can understand changing some things for a recast, but they should keep the core of who the character is. Amelia's Victoria has almost no resemblance to Heather's, it should be a completely new character instead.
June 17, 200817 yr Member Not only is she miscast, but they totally rewrote who Victoria was to fit Amelia. Yep! That's all wrong, characters should be in character despite the actors who portray them. Basically. But there are very specific reasons Victoria is written the way she is.
June 17, 200817 yr Member Amelia's Victoria has almost no resemblance to Heather's, it should be a completely new character instead. The retcons of HT's Victoria to fit AH's could be a thread of their own.
June 17, 200817 yr Member Not only is she miscast, but they totally rewrote who Victoria was to fit Amelia. That's all wrong, characters should be in character despite the actors who portray them. Isn't that one of the reasons HT left in the first place? They wanted to lower her pay, dumb down Vicki, and make her only pop up once a week?
June 17, 200817 yr Member Who wrote and directed Monday's episode? - James Stanley wrote the breakdown. - Beth Milstein wrote the script. - Andrew Lee directed. Edited June 17, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
