June 19, 200817 yr Member How awful is this: I'll take any storyline Sheffer has to offer. Good, bad, ugly -- doesn't matter. Be sure to remember this...
June 19, 200817 yr Member The show is really dull right now. I'm hoping that HS makes it better, but it is slow. Personally I think Hogan has been disappointing in his last couple of shows and I think Y&R would be a good time to turn that around. Victor and Sabrina are paint drying. I will admit I've come to enjoy Adam and I think he has excellent chemistry with Paul's daughter. But, I don't think they are doing a very good job of giving him any kind of identity. I also like the renewed friendship between Paul and Niki. I think Gloria was backed into a corner with the hand cream murder and nobody has figured a way to get her out of that corner. I also think the show should figure out some way to finally address the plane crash and the death of Jill's husband. It's just awkward right now. I think Josh Griffith has some ability. He is not Ed Scott, but only Ed Scott is Ed Scott. I think Scott is the reason DOOL is so enjoyable right now. But I do think JG has some ability. I hope that HS is co-head writer because I like that the Bells are invested in the show. Right now, however, it is a big snooze.

They could always just ingore it. Since they redeemed Phyllis they have ignored all of her past crimes... I also think the show should figure out some way to finally address the plane crash and the death of Jill's husband. According to MAB, the Ji Min murder will be addressed this summer. No word on the plane crash though . I think Josh Griffith has some ability. He is not Ed Scott, but only Ed Scott is Ed Scott. I think Scott is the reason DOOL is so enjoyable right now. I think JG has done great things for the show (despite the ratings not reflecting that). I think he and MAB have been concentrating more on "cleaning up the mess" made by LML than on starting exciting new storylines (well, apart from the riveting Victor/Sabrina romance ). Also, I didn't think Ed Scott was that great. (I just know I'm going to get burned at the stake for that one.)
June 19, 200817 yr Member Also, I didn't think Ed Scott was that great. (I just know I'm going to get burned at the stake for that one.) Well i wont burn you for that, but i do wonder how come you feel that way?

We all know we need both Ed Scott and Marnia Saitta back on Y&R. Edited June 19, 200817 yr by dmarex
June 19, 200817 yr Member ^No reason in particular. I just didn't think his work on Y&R was that special. There's also the fact that he was AL's biggest cheerleader, and I just know that if he ever returned to Y&R, the first thing he would do would be to restore her and fire TS.

Oh, so once again it's all about TS. Are you related to that actress? Ed worked on Y&R as producer/exec.prod/super.prod. from the 70s to 2007, and his work was appreciated. Not by LML, obviously.

You've just made me Ed Scott's number one fan.

CK didn't look at Goddard except for ONE picture when they were smiling at each other. Goes to show how much "passion" they have between them.

So, his work isn't good because he liked a certain actress? There goes all your credibility (well, if any ever existed).

June 19, 200817 yr Member I'd cheer for AL too if when she had the scene where she broke her heel at Crimson Lights, I felt more sympathy and compassion for her than when TS broke up with Adrian because she wanted to do the noble thing and protect her father.
