For some reason, RC doesn't seem to want to write for Layla.

I guess I'm going to have to agree with Sylph on something. I think the dialogue on OLTL is incredibly weak for all the fantastic storylines going on at the moment. However, as I said before, I'd rather good storylines than craptastic dialogue.

I completely agree, actually. The dialogue is the one thing taking me out of the pretty fantastic storytelling (and the blocking of each scene is brilliant, as Toups said). I can't believe Carolyn Culliton is editing these scripts. My respect for her has fallen a bit. Some of the dialogue could have been written by a fanfic writer (no disrespect meant, I used to write one).

When Viki was trying to comfort Jess last week, I could only compare it to the wonderful scene between Marlena/Belle on DAYS and wonder how Hogan's former DAYS crew would have written that scene. I know, I'm horrible. But you should never NOTICE the dialogue at all IMO. It should come as natural as any ordinary conversation.

Case in point: Besides my complete HATRED for Starr and Cole, their scenes made me feel as if I had opened a pregnancy magazine.

But enough complaining. There was alot of good about the episode too. And OLTL is STILL the best soap these days.

The Brody/Shane/Gigi stuff was quite good, as was the Rex/Charlie/Roxy conversation (although the dialogue was a bit iffy here too at times). And of course, the magnificent entrance of Tina: "Just call me Tina." Wonderful. Not to mention the double whammy of Marty's resurrection.

interesting return for Tina this will be exciting! also, yay for Susan Haskell. I found today to be kind of boring aside from the returns I thought it'd be a BIGGER day, but then again its only Wed right?

About the Cramer's where is Melinda anyway? I know she was on the show as recently as the late 80s and had been temporarily sane again. When that Paul Cramer mess happened I eblieve she was show, insane again, once more? Was that the last time?

As I said before, I was a HUGE fan of the Marcie/Adriana scenes. But today was Melissa's last day?! I don't read spoilers. If that's the case, then you're absolutely right - those shouldn't have been her last scenes. Leyla should have been involved.

I liked them too brimike! Up to the part where Gigi showed up and Marcie pretty much threw Adrianna under the bus. And I am just assuming that today was it for Adrianna because she was boarding a plane for Paris. Maybe Layla catches up with her for two minutes before she gets on the plane?

After Adriana left for her plane to Paris, Tina's plane came in and she met this guy. The guy called her the crown princess, but she basically said "[!@#$%^&*] that. Call me Tina."

Her boobs were on spectacular display. Even the most flaming of queens would love to take nap on those pillows!

I swear i mentioned this the other day. I'm finding it hard to believe that she just "accepts" her 16 year old daughter is pregnant.

See, i disagree. I eman honestly, what other option does she have? Her daughter already ran away from home with no intent to return. Todd is apsycho that almost murderd her and her boyfriend. Blair *Has* to be ok with it. she *has* to not come down on starr about this. besides, it is happening, and i see blair in more of i better make sure she is ok and makes the chocie she wants to make for herself and make sure she knows she can be here and open up to be.

But i wouldnt a mind a scene with someone other than starr where slair opens up, but imho it shouldnt be to starr at all.
