I would die if we had to have another coming out story. That was another reason I didn't like the story with Noah and Luke...we had Luke's coming out drama throughout the spring and summer of 2006. We didn't need yet another drawn-out coming out storyline with a father who wants total control of his son. Noah's coming out mirrored Luke's too much to me.

It'd be awesome if Luke got secret admirer notes and it turned out that they were from Kevin. Eh, the Kevin thing is beating a dead horse, but me and Soapsuds can still dream, can't we?

I think I'm watching a different show than everyone else, but I'm liking most of what's going on right now.

Parker/Liberty -- I like them, especially in the outdoor scenes. He reminds me so much of Jack with Carly: frustrated and intrigued at the same time.

Chris/Ali/Aaron: The triangle is kind of boring, but I didn't think Chris was completely in the wrong here. He was pressuring the instructor to keep Ali in the program, but she would have been flunking out without his pressure. His personal feelings were affecting her education way before this, but because it was helping her she didn't complain. But now that it's no longer to her advantage, everyone's jumping in and tsk-tsking him. Where were they before?

Brad/Katie/Janet: I find this interesting because I can't quite tell where it's going. I like Janet (and I LOVE Julie Pinson in the role) but it's not clear to me that she is aggressively pursuing Brad. It seems to me she thinks she wants to, then she sees his genuineness and his love for Liberty and Katie, and she backs off. She's not quite a hardcore con woman like Iris, but there are definitely some secrets she and Liberty are keeping. And I like Katie providing some calm advice for Liberty; she's turning out to be a pretty good stepmom.

I think Janet needs to meet Mike, ASAP.

Holden/Carly: I know I'm in the minority, but I like these two. I like that they've bonded over their difficulties as parents; I like seeing Carly act and be treated as a responsible person for once. The show is taking it a nice slow pace, which I like; it seems a little repetitive, but seeing Holden/Lily and Carly/Jack keep getting stuck in the same groove of fights and misunderstandings makes me understand more why Holden and Carly are growing closer. They're not stuck in a fighting rut, they have someone who is lending a compassionate ear, and it just seems flat out easier.

It won't last, but I get why it could be happening. And once it does, and Lily and Jack find out, then it will get really fun! Then Lily and Jack should get together, and watch them all freak out. Hee! (I have to assume that's why they kicked MB to the curb; she IS Lily, as far as I'm concerned, but she and Michael Park could never have pulled off a romantic story. They were so clearly great friends, and it showed in every scene they were in. So as long as they have nuLily -- which I don't think will last more than a year -- they should take advantage of it and pair her with Jack for a little while.)

Meg/Paul/Sophie: Zzzzz. The only silver lining is that Paul and Barbara are on the same side for once.

Luke/Noah/Ameera: Zzzzz. Add me to the list of Luke/Kevin fans. I wish that would have worked. I haven't really enjoyed Van Hansis' work since, but I TOTALLY bought his longing for Kevin.

:lol::lol: Whatever happened to using a magic eight ball? :P

Anyway, I'm a Luke/Kevin fan, too. I had a problem with the actors though. See, to me, they look like twin brothers. I don't know why, but I see a striking resemblance to them and I dunno...I was hesistant. I couldn't see past it. It's worse than Max and his nieces (DOOL). lol

Lol...typical.

Well I hope they don't completely destroy the character. I mean she's sorta interesting to me.

As for Paul and Meg...uhh I use to be such a fan of this couple and maybe I will be again but right now I'm just kinda angry at Paul Ryan. I'd rather have Mike and Meg right now...

daisy, I agree with a lot of what you said. I'm really liking Parker and Liberty as well--they are cute, and it's fun to watch. I finally watched yesterday, and I'm totally thinking Jack and Janet could work.

After watching yesterday, I'm still totally feeling for Allison, though this whole storyline could end soon and I'd be ok with it.

I can see where they looked like twins. I just loved the pairing. The storyline was taken slowly(the right way) not like Nuke. It's a shame the story was dropped for Nuke.

    • Are these new?! Damn, he is in the prime of his life.
    • He is a 40 year old large grown man "raising his voice" and calling a teenage girl "careless".  That's inappropriate.  I am not going to argue at the octave of his voice although I would consider it yelling.  Felicity was visibly upset.  She also has special needs, but it would be wrong to do that to anyone in general.  Xander was out of line.  He didn't immediately apologize or admit he was wrong until Princess Sarah was okay.  Idk, go find your wife's epipen instead of berating a young girl.  Or, you know, Sarah could have asked if there was any pistachio in her scone as a pre-caution.  That's how most people with allergies that severe order things. I do think this story or plot point is silly, but acting like Xander did nothing wrong is just strange.  Even if Felicity DID do something wrong was he just going to continue to go on and on while his wife was going into shock?  That's the proper reaction lol.
    • I didn't get that so far so I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever pick back up.  I must have chosen bad episodes because what I saw had some really bad Irish accents from supporting/day players. They were hard to get through and I just didn't have the patience to deal with them. I don't think these accents would be allowed to go through today. I assume these accents were ironed out as the show went on--reminded me of Deas's terrible accent on GL that was dropped because it was so bad.

    • It's shoddy journalism. Pretty much says all you need to know about Parade as a source.
    • It could still be possible.  Ashley could know who her dad is, but her mother stating that her father was a ruthless man so she opted to listen to her mom and kept her distance. It also could be a change in storyline direction since we're now approaching the period of episodes being filmed when the show debuted. The actress playing Ashley posted an IG two weeks ago with her saying she got to work with new characters and old time favorites.  So I do wonder if some new details will emerge between Episode 51 and whatever she was filming at the end of April.
    • He didn't scream. He accused her of being careless in a slightly raised voice. Then he immediately admitted he had overreacted.
    • I really don't like Joey. Please get that disaster off the screen. Leslie going off like that finally let everyone see exactly who she is. She said she has more surprises up her sleeve which reinforces my thoughts that she knows something about Martin.
