Well GH is well above it's competition Guiding Light .. so I'm sure ABCD will spin like the washing machine again this week to explain away why their TOP DOG show GH was beaten this week by what some call ABCD's red headed step child OLTL. I can't wait to read it!

GH being down almost a full million viewers from this time last year should have everyone at that show fired.

The Jesse/Angie wedding wasn't advertised enough. If you weren't watching the show or keeping a close watch of the boards or mags, you wouldn't know it was happening. I think alot of former viewers would've tuned in if they'd known. The show does have alot of weaknesses but last week was great, minus the Greenlee stuff. I don't think ABC did enough to get the word out.

They spent their PR budget on the return of "real" Greenlee!

I bet there's tons of offline fans who don't even know Jesse/Angie are on the show!

If the story is there, it should. I've given up on GH and wasn't planning on replacing it, but Tina is one of my all-time faves, so I'll probably tune in for the first couple of weeks she's back (longer if the writing is good).

Assuming ABC actually promotes Tina's return...

OLTL could possibly squeeze out a week above GH, but it won't maintain it. GH, despite its quality, will remain ABC #1 soap.

If it's ABCD's #1 soap then it should see that their #1 soap has lost over 1million viewers since last year and FIRE those in charge. But I don't see that happening.

What is happening to Y&R?? The show is sinking fast!!

OLTL will go down next week. It's been up two straight weeks. No soap has gone up three weeks in a row this year.
