I liked the way FF playd the reaction to shane. its was a wide mix of emotion,d rama, conflict, wtf, scared, omg. in like .2 seconds. here gigi is about to tell res - and everyone else - that he is shanes father BAM in walks brody, who shane thinks is his father, who isnt so dead afterall.

whats the correct reaction to that? lol

i loved that david was half naked. thats how he always should be.

i wish the show would give me some more rex/natalie moments.

loved that gigi was in hotpink.

loved dorian using gigi stoping the wedding against viki.

i love the todd/cole scenes.

After watching Monday's episode:

* I want Adrianna to stay. I felt so sorry for her! Rex, Gigi and Adrianna make a great triangle and these days Adrianna reminds me of classic soap opera bad girls like early Rachel, early Erica or early Brooke.

* The way the episode ended was great. What a soap entrance for Brody.. Liked that.

* I love Gigi but I hated the way she acted in church. She had her son next to her, how could she act like this? Still I loved her and FF. Shane is adorable.

* I guess Todd was right all along about Starr and Cole. This boy has gotten his daughter pregnant and ran away with her. Can't wait for Marty to return. I am prety sure TPTB are going to test TSJ and SH's chemistry to the fullest.

This was an amazing episode. All soap weddings should be like this! Just all the interactions, between Viki and Dorian and Natalie and Viki and especially Adriana and anybody were awesome. It's been a long time since a soap wedding was both funny and heart-breaking and edge-of-your-seat. I'd even compare this to Santa Barbara's wedding between Gina and Sonny Sprocket (except without the shooting).

And I cannot believe I am saying this but... is there any way Melissa Fumero can stay?! Adriana is a Skye Chandler in the making. Robin Christopher is, of course, a goddess, but Adriana really made me feel sorry for her today. And she comes alive in her scenes with Dorian and any of the Cramer women. And with Brody, LOL.

David + Jared + Nigel = hilarity.

One thing, though. What is Todd's problem? Was TSJ meant to be playing Starr's fall like it was some big joke? I would have thought that this would be the one thing which would sober Todd up, at least momentarily, but he was acting like it was all no big deal. I like TSJ, but was this his bad acting choice or the script's?

Question: back in the day, did OLTL show/cover Blair's runaway days. She mentioned going through something like Starr did and I wondered if this was part of the history or the possible roots of a new SL for Blair. Or both.

IMHO, the qriting no doubt about it. they even brought up todd not caring about starr falling because he was too oibsessed with cole.

thats who todd is. why should he care about pushing his daughter down some stairs when he has a 17yearold boy to beatup?

I haven't been watching the show that long, but I will give my assessment of Todd. He is a selfish arrogant a-hole. He thinks his s*** don't stink and the world should revolve around him. A classic selfish child that was never told "no". Unfortunately he is a grown man acting like a spoiled brat. But the other thing I see is that he has a completely different view of reality. Every situation he sees one way that is completely opposite of everyone else. For example Blair could say "Todd you know the sky is blue" and Todd's response would be "Well that RED sky is very annoying." Look at the way he just opened up her medical file, like he was the King of the World. He didn't even tried to be sneaky about it and read it right there out in the open. (By the way can he even look at his daughter's medical records like that? For some reason I think his daughter is old enough where that is technically private.) He doesn't see Starr's fall as a big thing because it isn't HIS fault. Once again it is Cole's fault and is being a bad influence on his daughter. He sees her as perfect unable to make a decision on her own. If the big bad Cole didn't tell Starr to run away, she wouldn't have fallen. I have to say he is a very interesting character to watch on the show because his reactions to things are so odd to the situation. There was moment where he was standing by himself in the hospital and I started to wonder if maybe all of this reaction to Starr/Cole is the set up for Todd to have a major mental breakdown or something.

Blair showed up as an adult. All we really know is that Blair is the product of Addie having been raped while institutionalized, and that Blair spent her childhood in foster homes. Since we never saw her backstory play out, speculation has gone on about it for years; mainly the possibility that there is a long lost child in her past.

And the original Blair was part Asian!

LOL, yeah, I remember hearing about that. And I also remember KdP's Blair back in the day making a play for Cord and Todd (and Asa!) in order to marry some moolah. But I didn't know about her childhood or whether it had been covered on the show. thanks for clearing that up. Looks like RC may possibly be delving into her backstory. :)

Melissa Gallo was amazing yesterday. I loved her tirade against Gigi. She showed so much emotion, it was very real. I've enjoyed Adrianna more these past couple of months than I have since she's been on the show. I'm saddened to see her leave, but I'm sure she'll do great things.

*Side Note: I had to adblock your banner JP.....* lol

The fact that the writers included Adriana's explanation as to why she hated Gigi so much shows how masterful they are. Who wouldn't use such underhanded methods to keep her man after all they've been through.

Maybe it's because I've lowered my expectations for all other soaps and these writers are simply good and not as incredible as I think they are.

But I cannot remember the last time I yelled "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" at the screen because Gigi she said she's in love with Rex. Or was so confused by Trevor's choice to act so nonchalantly after causing Starr's fall. Or exclaiming, "I love Dorian" (literally, y'all) when she said (and I paraphrase) everyone has a secret to Vicki and the camera showed a worried Charlie.

And even the direction and editing is just mind-blowing. The closeup of Adriana's fist closing up right before she punched Gigi and the fact that they shot it from that angle to show Adriana's shoulder looking so brawny LOL. How EVERY SINGLE surprising mini-cliffhanger possible (John finding the pregnancy pamphlet/ Adriana asking Rex if he loved Gigi/ Brody leaving the photo on the seat at the bus terminal/ Todd finding the kids etc. etc.) made my mind spin. Such effective editing that I have not seen on a soap in like 2-3 years!

And there seriously was NEVER A DULL MOMENT! Did anyone watch yesterday and want to FF through a scene? I honestly never did.

So, either they've hit their stride or they're just doing their jobs. Either way, I was on an emotional rollercoaster yesterday and I loved it!!

I'm going on vacation tomorrow but you better believe I'm taping this on Sunday's soapnet marathon LOL.
