I thought it was a very good eppy today.

I also enjoyed all those scenes. Props to Gigi for slapping REX. :)

The Gigi & Marcie exchange about Rex was FUN, especially since it was done so fast. Cracked me UP!

Marcie: Rex tried to kiss you?!

Gigi: Shhh!!

Marcie: Did you kiss him back?!

Gigi: Did you want him to kiss me?!

Marcie: Did you want to kiss him?!

Gigi: Of course not! That's why I belted him!

Marcie: You're kidding?!

Gigi: In the face!

Marcie: How did he react?!

Gigi: He apologized!

Marcie: For kissing you?!

Gigi: He didn't kiss me Marcie!!!!!!

Jared won me over when he winked & blew Nat a kiss (I'd just started warming up to him since he and Nat have been orbiting each other). Good match; smokin' hot!

I was so bummed that Gigi and Rex didn't kiss, but at least that gives me something to hope for later (plus, I don't think Gigi is the guy-stealing type). I wonder how this Brody thing is going to play out.

I totally though Starr would come to the opposite conclusion after talking to Viki. Cole seemed like he was on the verge of being mean to Starr; I'm guessing he doesn't know how to finesse his delivery (if that makes sense). He doesn't treat his bud Markko very well, either. If I were Markko, I'd quit that lop-sided friendship.

Today's show was just okay.

I can actually stand John right now (oddly), despite this stupid story line he and Antonio and Talia are in.

The teen scene: don't care.

The BE thing needs a new twist 'cause it's going nowhere fast.

I am finding that this week is FINALLY bringing the storylines around some!!! Meaning, there are things happening at last & you can almost tell things are heating up in the coming weeks!!!!

I loved the easy family feel to the scenes involving Todd, Blair, Viki, & the kids. That struck me as rather realistic.

Plus, I am getting so caught up in wondering....... who Ramsey is really keeping in the penthouse???? Though, I am 99% sure it is Susan Haskell's Marty, I sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wish that Ramsey was hiding Gabrielle Medina in a plot to really get back at Bo--- (dreaming I know).

Here's to the rest of this week continuing the momentum!!

Finally got some Viki/Starr scenes, only time I was interested in Starr's story. Now can I please get some ALONE time between Viki/Charlie, this is getting really tiring to always have people with them.

Can they not figure out what to do with Michael?

Addie went up to her room and never came back down. She was mentioned the other day though. I actually think she will be back come May.

Finally have some time to talk about Tuesday/Wed Eppys

TUESDAY I really like Viki taking charge and stopping Calvin Jenkins from trying to destroy BE. I wonder if how she did it will ever be revealed because they went some where else to talk. This could be interesting. That was basically all I enjoyed about tuesday.

WEDNESDAY ummmm well what can I say, thinking, thinking, I got nothing. Viki talking to Starr was okay but I am with Chrishntr and would prefer her talking to Charlie. I think that will change when RC's stuff starts back up, hopefully anyways.

    • Yes, but the stories are all pretty awful Seeing Victor rehashing his hatred of the Abbotts  when he married one of them and has a daughter that is half Abbott as well as walking around with Traci's daughter's heart keeping him alive makes him look worse than he already is. And I remember he and Jack chatting amicably in the past few years. Victor interfering in Kyle/Claire is just repeat of Billy/Victoria. Sharon, Nick,Phyllis etc are around but again the stories are lacking.
    • I think Kevin's 1996 Emmy was fair enough. He barely appeared for his second. I don't think anyone else on the list is that deserving but I might have gone with Moore as he did try with the whole Keesha AIDS story. @alwaysAMC Thanks to slick jones' cast list I was able to see that Nikki Rene played Tina. Not much on her, as you mentioned. Tap and a few Broadway listings (it doesn't help that a younger actress with a similar name is in a lot of roles). • Thank you. That does ring a bell. I remember Theresa and Julian's drunk, giggly fake wedding (with Julian asking "Whassup?" to the minister). Was Bruce tricking the pair as a prank, or did somebody put him up to it? I especially liked Katherine recalling how dashing young Alistair was when he'd pick up Rachel for dates, and how she wished she could be her sister, then feeling guilty once Rachel had her boating accident ...
    • And Kevin Mambo beat Shemar Moore for those two Emmys. I chalk up the wins to the voters not wanting Jonathan Jackson to eventually end up with a five peat (he won 1995, 1998, 1999). These were the 1996 and 1997 Younger Actor races. 1996: Nathan Fillion, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow 1997: Steve Burton, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow

    • Today's episode was excellent. Clearly it was confrontation day and they didn't disappoint. I'm glad they didn't forget Mona in all of this and gave us an opportunity to see how she's dealing with this. A major highlight for me were the Kat and Martin scenes. Their chemistry is off the charts and I don't understand why we haven't gotten more of this. I love how they take turns calming each other down. They feel really well matched and believable as siblings. Speaking of siblings, they anvils were dropping strong that Kat and Eva are twins but I do wish someone would mention that they are essentially hood twins which might throw people off the scent.  I'm one of the people who enjoyed Joey and the gambling storyline so it was nice to see him again. It was nice to see different characters like Mona and Eva in that element instead of the usual players. When Doug arrived I don't know what hit me but I just see a funeral in his future. He seems so hopeless and has the worst luck. I just can't see him surviving the year at this rate.
    • In fiction there has become an expectation by some that every Black character should represent excellence and perfection. It's not like we are talking about a Tyler Perry show where none of the characters are happy and everyone hates each other with a passion.
    • And on rewatch, I could've done without the unsubtle praising Matt like he was the only one who ever accepted Van as she was...but TPTB and their agendas.  It was totally in character for Vanessa to shut down emotionally until she was alone. While she could be volatile, both she and Henry believed in keeping emotions private.  Thank God it's still Bryan Buffinton in the role for both Henry's and HB's funerals. It just wouldn't have been the same with Ryan Brown, who couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. Roll My Eyes.
