April 24, 200817 yr Member AMC's been better, but I think it and OLTL, which to me is still a big snooze, will still be around a 1.9/2.0, with GH at 2.3/2.4. Will be interesting to see if Y&R can make it back to the 4's. People have been saying the show is better, but after watching it last night on Soapnet, most things just scream WTF? It seems to be spinning its wheels. Hopefully MAB has some meaty, drive-through stories to tell. Nice to see Jill, but unfortunately she will not be the focus of story they are essentially plugging her into, I can assure you of that.
April 24, 200817 yr Member And while there are people hoping for an AMC increase, I'm like the little person who kind of hopes that GL jumps just a tad notch because the recent ratings for GL have been extremely horrible. True, the show sucks and wish that there would be some kind of regime change to happen for this show, but these ratings for GL are so sad to look at. And with former Guiding Light actress Nicollette Goulet who just recently died due to her battle with breast cancer and looking at some old Guiding Light video clips on YouTube when she played Meredith Reade, I was just saddened to see the passion the show had as a whole back then. And it's gone now... it's just... so sad. *sniffs* ITA. 2008 greatly pales in comparison with what was once a really good show just a few years ago. But I can't see how they can turn things around at this point - to a point where the show would even be a shadow of its former self. Hopefully, I will someday stand corrected. I'm sorry to hear about Nicollette Goulet, Robert's daughter. May she rest in peace.

April 24, 200817 yr Member I guess, the same old same old.... Crappy ratings all around.... And I don't get the calls for AMC's ratings to go up, I still see nothing but mundane storylines whenever I tune in.... Edited April 24, 200817 yr by Y&RWorldTurner
April 24, 200817 yr Member Darn. I was hoping AMC would at least stay the same. No, the show isn't "must-see" but it's definitely better than a few months ago.
April 24, 200817 yr Author Administrator Wild guess (not)! Had a sneak peek! Cheater. Thanks for the ratings, Lskreet!
April 24, 200817 yr Member Interesting to see how Lynn Latham pulled a 4.6 and Maria Bell is having 3.8... And Lynn's was an incomparably crappier Y&R. Wild guess (not)! Had a sneak peek! And I know how. Edited April 24, 200817 yr by Sylph
April 24, 200817 yr Member Depressing numbers! Only half the shows are over the 2.0 mark. These don't bode well as we go into sweeps.
