Some of her co-stars like A Martinez, Richard Eden (Brick) and Robert Thaler (Pearl) have praised her to the skies. Ironically, Mark Arnold said that along with A and Marcy, she was amongst his favorite co-stars. A said on FB once that he and his wife ran into Robin several years ago and had a joyous reunion. Page Moseley (Dylan Hartley) didn't share those sentiments, as he told in an interview from a few years ago: http://santabarbara-online.com/InterviewPMoseley2.htm

Or Nathan Fillion, Judith Light, etc....

in my opinion, Marcy Walker had the best couple, but Robin Wright was the best actress from that show. I've been seeing episodes from 1986 1988 and I'm really impressed.

She's fantastic as Kelly. I cannot understand why some people prefer Carrington Garland. She is not bad but Robin is a master acting class compared to CG.

I thought the Walker family was a good idea...because the show needed a middle class family to balance out the Cap wells.  The problem was that they were focused on too quickly at the expense of the capwells.

That said, I actually liked Kim Zimmer better here then on GL.  She was still a little over the top, but she was also more grounded...playing a cop...and the scenes where she felt guilt not recognizing the signs that her daughter was abused when she'd been a cop were acted well.

The problem the show had was that it was too hinged on Cruz/Eden...and once Eden left...the show never recovered.  If modern soaps could watch a past soap to show what not to do....Santa Barbara should be a template of how focusing on one couple without developing long term supporting characters can kill a show long term.

Apparently, it never occurred to her that if Rob Reiner hadn't watched her on SB, she never would have gotten the movie role that put her on the map. I think a lot of her bitterness about the show stems with Dane being let go so early into the show's run, and maybe her relationship with him in general. Or maybe she was upset when Marcy Walker (who in 1984 was already a seasoned soap actress with a couple of Emmy nominations under her belt) came on a couple of months into the show's run and became the show's leading lady (it was almost all Kelly/Joe pre-Eden). Whatever the reason, SB opened up a lot of doors for Robin Wright. Regardless of her personal feelings towards the Dobsons or anyone else for the show, she should be grateful for what the show did for her. Maybe Julianne Moore should shake some sense into her.

She looks a bit old to be her but it reminds me a lot of her, especially at the end.

I guess she isn't on FB or anything to where we could ask...

Sad that there's so little material of her outside of SB in the first place.

MTV's Floribama Shore Kirk Medias is dead at 33 years old.
    • Of course, sexy silver fox Dr. Jeffrey Russell has to be in cahoots with EJ so that Kayla's morals don't look selfish and skewed when she is completely in the wrong in letting Steve accidentally on purpose look at the important hospital files. Anyone find it funny that a handful of characters slurred their words today?  I can't quite explain it, but sometimes, like today, I feel like Deidre Hall plays scenes too light or passive, for lack of a better word. She's definitely more known as a charismatic personality than powerhouse actress compared to her soap diva counterparts from other soaps, but I just wish she could give me more. I did, however, like that her scenes with EJ got a 'to be continued...' about Belle. Maybe then I'll see more of what I want from her. Have Shawn and Johnny literally ever had a scene together before today? If they start having Sarah in a scene where she connects with literally any other Horton, then I'll be really impressed.  I'm glad they went through the trouble of explaining why EJ bid on Cat. It made enough sense, and I laughed when Chad spit out his asking about it as soon as humanly possible.

    • But Leslie is doing it all for her daughter.

Such a liar. Great episode but Martin needs to be recast. He hasn't improved. I didn't feel anything for him because of his acting and the writing. He has been so isolated from Ted and Nicole that he doesn't seem like their son, much less family. Leslie is pure evil. She wants Ted and the house and the riches that go with it. She doesn't care about Eva. I felt really bad for Eva.
    • I dont understand the motivation behind it. Eva is her link to Ted and the Duprees and without her, she has nothing. It would have served better for Eva to be all fed up with her and leave the house on her own and Leslie try to make amends bc she needs her for this comeup she's been talking about. Eva can repair her relationship with Ted and maybe build something with the Duprees and cut her out
    • So good today Dante is overreacting blaming gio Hopefully Danny will come clean
    • Not mad at Leslie Locking Eva out, I think it's important for the audience to see her on her own for a while. Curious how scrappy and savvy she becomes on her own. Yeah, I am with you there. It feels a bit hollow; maybe if she was talking to Martin and Kat I would feel better about it. There must be more to this story. Daphnee and Ambyr owned this episode. Tugging my heart in every scene. Nicole process hurt and anger much differently than Dani though.
    • I also really enjoyed Eva's scenes with Kat today. They have an interesting chemistry. I thought it really did feel a bit like sisters at conflict. Especially with the way that Eva was trying to convince Kat to forgive Ted and them both coming to the conclusion that the man they thought was their father was different wasn't who they really thought he was initially. And the way that Eva broke down when Kat said that she was dead to her was emotional stuff. I really do think that in spite of their conflict/bickering Eva really would have loved to have gained a sister, along with a brother, father, etc... Also, I thought it was interesting how Eva kept saying that she loves Ted and Nicole. That and Leslie mentioning that Kat/Eva are almost twins really does make me wonder if Kat may really be her twin and Nicole's as well. I would gladly welcome that outcome, even if it takes a while for it to come out. At this point Leslie doesn't deserve Eva as a daughter as far as I'm concerned. And I would forward to a storyline where we found out that she's Nicole's second baby girl, and all the complex and ultimately happy feelings that would bring Nicole. Eva/Kat could still have a rivalry, especially if Nicole ended up doing some more bonding with Eva. And then we could get the rest of the family's reaction to that as well.
