Lynda Hirsch spoilers

DAYS OF OUR LIVES: Steve tells Hope how he hooked up Ava when he was missing and she's trying to re-enter his life. Hope agrees that Steve should not tell Kayla about this. In the parking lot, Hope is approached from behind and chloroformed. Ava drags Hope into the backseat. One of Ava's guards carries an unconscious Hope into Ava's room. Hope comes to. Ava tells her she knows she's Kayla. Steve is at home when he gets a call from the kidnapped Hope, pretending to be Kayla. Steve figures out what's happened. He begins to tell Kayla but she's hit with severe cramps. Stephanie and Morgan's professor tells them they must each have a cameraman follow them on their internships. Philip talks to Tony about a new campaign for Kiriakis shipping. The local opera does not hire Chloe. Everyone thinks she had something to do with Brady's disappearance. At Chez Rouge, John sits at a romantic table for two, when Marlena enters. She's taken aback and confused. John wants to make up with her and gives her a gorgeous diamond necklace. Marlena's not impressed and she leaves.

SNEAK PEEK: John declares war.

The Chloe "spoiler" made me laugh out loud too. "Everyone thinks CHloe is involved in Brady's disappearance." Really? I hadn't noticed that since the character returned in NOVEMBER!!!! And we're back to the Salem Opera House? Really? REALLY?!

I found out about this particular spoiler yesterday and like I said in another previous thread in the discussion forum about the current state of DAYS, I'm already starting to smell the presence of Dena Higley. And it reeks of 'White Shoulders'.

Oh lord, this sounds just awful. That early 2003 period was like *the* hardest to watch, if I even kept my eyes open. It would suck to go from being a somewhat boring show to a dreadfully boring show once again. So...uh...Higley *is* the new headwriter then?

Too ease people's minds, there are a lot of other spoilers for the coming weeks and they actually sound much better..We get Nicole crashing a Kirikas dinner party with her dog Pookie and then Victor throwing her out..Ava and Hope scenes..Phillip and Tony scenes...Maggie helping John plan a romantic dinner for Marlena...Chelsea having complications from the transplant..and much more..

    • I don't mind her in the role. At all.
    • Love this from the AP article on BTG: For years, Veronica Redd played Mamie Johnson — Drucilla’s aunt — on “The Young and the Restless.” When she tuned into the premiere of “Beyond the Gates,” what she saw got her attention, but what she heard blew her away. “I was not prepared,” laughs Redd. It begins with a women driving a Mercedes-Benz through the gates of an exclusive country club. The Emotions’ “Best of My Love” is playing — something that told Redd the production value was top notch. Daytime isn’t usually Redd’s favorite genre even though she acknowledges “it’s paid the bills for many decades.” “Beyond the Gates,” though, has earned a spot in Redd’s TV time. “They got me hooked,” she says. -
    • It's a shame because I like the actress, but she was miscast. I'd say they should pull a DAYS and put her in another role.
    • Theoretically, I would agree, but it seems like Paul Avila Mayer and Stephanie Braxton did such a number on Hogan, Sunny and Liza that reuniting Hogan and Sunny would've been a toxic situation.
    • She painfully sticks out, it’s awful. I can’t believe the producers don’t see this.
    • Deidre Hall did really well in that last scene hearing about them closing in on John. John's funeral is going to be tough to watch.
    • And this is why I use a different video hosting site. It's interesting to me that on IG Sony only hits current not vintage. Also there's no penalty as long as you delete.
    • Are we sure we're not going to go down a Natalia Grace storyline here?

    • Probably. Stephanie is still so underdeveloped as a character to me.  She jumps from romance to romance and I feel like she takes on the persona and interests of the man she is with at the moment.  I don't really know her interests or personality.  And Stephanie certainly gets enough airtime to explore more than sex with Alex. I know she was interacting with Kayla today, but a lot of the dialogue was "Alex asked", "Alex thinks..", "Alex is now free so I have to go" lol.  What do you think about anything, Stephanie?
    • May 2025:   New Pope, Leo XIV is chosen in Rome, while the Italian Open tennis tournament is happening in Rome. The headline is "Sinner meets the Pope"  or  "Pope meets Sinner". LOL, this is tennis player Jannik Sinner. He met with Pope Leo and gave him a tennis racket. Leo plays tennis himself and is a tennis fan. (He is also a Chicago Cubs baseball fan).    https://apnews.com/article/pope-leo-jannik-sinner-tennis-italian-open-9305b5f2957ac15c7a405f836371ec1e The top-ranked tennis player visited the new pope on Wednesday, gave him a tennis racket and offered to play, during an off day for Sinner at the Italian Open. Leo, the first American pope, is an avid tennis player and fan and had said earlier this week that he would be up for a charity match when it was suggested by a journalist. But at the time, Leo joked “we can’t invite Sinner,” an apparent reference to the English meaning of Sinner’s last name. By Wednesday, all seemed forgotten. “It’s an honor,” Sinner said in Italian as he and his parents arrived in a reception room of the Vatican’s auditorium. Holding one of his rackets and giving Leo another and a ball, the three-time Grand Slam champion suggested a quick volley. But the pope looked around at the antiques and said, “Better not.” Leo, a 69-year-old from Chicago, then appeared to joke about his white cassock and its appropriateness for Wimbledon, perhaps a reference to the All England Club’s all-white clothing rule.
