Can't Hold Ryan Down

This is a parody of Christina Aguilera's hit song "Can't Hold Us Down" only with the above title. Enjoy!

So, what is he not supposed to have a dumb opinion

He should keep quiet just because he is like a woman

Call him a bitch 'cause he don't have a mind

Guess it's easier for him to swallow if he sat, bug eyed and smiled

When his inner female fires back

Suddenly Cameron Mathison don't know how to act

So he does what a bug eye little boy would do

Making up a few Dynamite Kiddo rumors or two

That for sure is definitely not a wonderful man to me

Slandering Kendall for popularity

It's sad he can only get your fame through bug eyed controversy (so sad)

But now it's time for me to come and give him a punch and more to say

This is for all the hot girls all around the world (around the world)

Who have come across a bug eyed idiot that don't respect your worth (oh ooh)

Thinking all women should be Stepford wives and not heard (ohh)

So what do the hot girls, run away and shout louder

Lettin him know we're gonna put a hole in the ground

So lift your hands higher, let him fall down and wave 'em proud (ohh)

Take a deep breath and remember to say it loud (ohh)

Never can, never will

Can't hold Ryan down

Nobody can hold Ryan down

(Hold Ryan down)

Nobody can hold Ryan down

(Hold Ryan down)

Nobody can hold Ryan down

(Hold Ryan down)

Never can, never will

So, what he is not supposed to say what he's saying

We are always offended with the message he's bringing

Call him whatever 'cause your words mean a thing

'Cause he ain't even man enough to handle what we sing

If he looks back in history

It's a common hypocrisy of him of society

The moron gets all the glory the more he is a bore

While the girl does the same and yet she is also a bore

I don't understand why his boring butt is ABC's okay

The guy can get away with anything bug eyed but the girl gets named

All the ladies come together and make a grand change

And start a new beginning with his death, everybody sing

This is for all the hot girls all around the world (around the world)

Who have come across a bug eyed idiot that don't respect your worth (oh ooh)

Thinking all women should be Stepford wives and not heard (ohh)

So what do the hot girls, run away and shout louder

Lettin him know we're gonna put a hole in the ground

So lift your hands higher, let him fall down and wave 'em proud (ohh)

Take a deep breath and remember to say it loud (ohh)

Never can, never will

Can't hold Ryan down

Check it

Here's something I just don't understand

If Ryan have three girls then he's somehow a man

He can even give them some nightmares, and sex her raw

If a girl do the same, then she's definitely a bore

But the table's on him are about to turn

We all bet our fame on it

Don't take his ideas and put your name on it

It's aight though, you can't hold Ryan down

He has got to keep on moving over that cliff

To all the girls with a man who are sick of his whack

Stare with bug eyes back to him and let that be that

Please need to let him know that his stupidity is of crack

And Kendall and Zach got your back

He's just a little boy

Thinks he's so cute so coy

He must talk too much and so big, to make up for smaller things

Said he's just a little boy

All he does is annoy

He must talk too much so big, to make up for smaller things

This is for all the hot girls all around the world (around the world)

Who have come across a bug eyed idiot that don't respect your worth (oh ooh)

Thinking all women should be Stepford wives and not heard (ohh)

So what do the hot girls, run away and shout louder

Lettin him know we're gonna put a hole in the ground

So lift your hands higher, let him fall down and wave 'em proud (ohh)

Take a deep breath and remember to say it loud (ohh)

Never can, never will

Can't hold Ryan down

This is for all the hot girls all around the world (around the world)

Who have come across a bug eyed idiot that don't respect your worth (oh ooh)

Thinking all women should be Stepford wives and not heard (ohh)

So what do the hot girls, run away and shout louder

Lettin him know we're gonna put a hole in the ground

So lift your hands higher, let him fall down and wave 'em proud (ohh)

Take a deep breath and remember to say it loud (ohh)

Never can, never will

Can't hold Ryan down

Uh oh, uh oh

Uh, uh, uh, uh uh, uh, uh

Please spread the word

Can't hold Ryan down

Yeah, he is still here, please get rid of him again

Yeah, Kendall and Zach, yeah

Can't hold Ryan down

Jesse/Angie

I have not commented on this but I must say that both of them look very good for their ages in real life. FYI: Darnell Williams is 52 while Debbi Morgan is 51. Gosh they still look wonderful for being in their 50s. Kudos to them, along with their great acting!

Im really worried they might go down teh Zach/Annie route. Good scenes between them today but they look a little suspect. They've been having alot of scenes lately and have been connected. I hope they dont cross the line bc I like them as friends and dont want anything more. She's hurt by Ryan, he's going to be hurt by Kendall, so something tells me, something might happen here

Ryan is an ass, chasing Kendall across the country when he has a WIFE at home. And he really wonders why Zach wants him away?

I hate when they pull this Aidan/Ryan friends crap. Who the hell wants to be friends with Ryan

I love Tad and Krystal's marriage. They work for me. I love the family and home they have created. They are so good with Jenny and are good parents to her. I like seeing the 3 of them together. I like how they love , care for and support each other. I like Krystal as his female companion in the Jesse/Angie story and enjoying the 4 of them as friends. Im actually also liking a domesticated Krystal and think she works good as a Martin and like that Opal has warmed up to her. Overall, Im just really enjoying these two and the writing for them lately

I think that Zack/Annie would be the only bright thing to come out of this mess. The actors have chemistry, and it works because they're not being thrown together out of nowhere and proclaimed a super couple. Their relationship seems natural, not contrived like so many other couples on this show, and is growing organically from the story. And that's what goes into making a successful couple. That's why I never bought Zack/Kendall, Ryan/Annie, or Tad/Krystal. Their relationships were forced.

LMAO Jason ;) I don't get the point of this storyline at all. Whoever came up with it, needs to be fired. I don't see how anyone could have thought this was a good storyline

No offense, but I always am baffled when anyone says Zach/Kendall were forced. How the heck are they forced? What you described in your post IS Zendall. They weren't even supposed to be a couple, they were supposed to be a pitstop on the way back to Rendull, but the fan reaction to them was so huge and strong they changed direction and went with Zendall.

So forgive me if this doesn't make sense to me.

Zach/Annie would be forced. This is the woman who ran screaming out of Zach and Kendall's house when she found out he caused the blackout.

I agree about Ryan/Annie, cause they had NO buildup, and Tad/Krystal never made any sense, wait scratch that, Krystal and Tad Martin he's become since the babyswitch I guess could make sense in the "lettingaparentbelievetheirchilddead" kind of way....

Anyways, I don't even see Zach/Annie happening, they're throwing so many things at the wall, that it's become so cartoonish, that it can't even be taken seriously IMO

Yet they wonder why ratings are a 2.0 I'm betting.....

Honestly, I dont know what they are going for and I dont think they do either. On any given day I can see Zach/Kendall, Aidan/Kendall, Ryan/Annie, Ryan/Greenlee, Zach/Annie, Ryan/Kendall, Zach/Greenlee, Aidan/Greenlee all being couples when this is all done. They are just playing musical chairs with the couples, wasting time not actually giving them anything worth substance to work with. Its like they have all these names on a board and spin the pointer and see who it lands on and decide to write 2 characters as a potential couple for the day. They're exhausting all possiblities here

I agree with that. Hardly any movement..... and we as viewers continued to held hostage by the sextet.... and it is what is dragging the show down.

The show today was meh.... I am going to love seeing Tad begging Adam tomorrow LOL. Its good to see Adam will once have the upper hand on Tad :D

I am sure it is due in part to the strike, but mostly because B&E love to milk a story for all its worth. Hello, CRASH? LOL

The movement is still faster than it was at the height of that.

Kendall: Spike is deaf.

Ryan: My son is deaf.

Kendall: Greenlee is the reason my son is deaf.

Greenlee: I'm so sorry

*rinse wash repeat about 100,000 times

Well I'm loving Frankie. I try to watch him. If this the actor first acting job he doing a hell of a job so far.

Second I don't believe Zendall was forced. I saw their chemistry & hope they find out they love each other before it was to late. I just wish Spike wasn't Ryan. I was hoping when the lights went out Zach sperm was the one Kendall eggs connected with.

I think it also going to be Zach & Annie.

Just because they weren't supposed to happen doesn't mean that the two characters being together is natural. Zach and Kendell don't look right together at all and quite honestly the real Kendell never would have fallen in love with him. Kendell hasn't been the true Kendell since 2004. We may see mild sparks of the Kendell of old but she is nothing like what she once was at her peak back in 2003. I don't buy that Kendell would have fallen in love with Zach and the fact that she did makes their relationship beyond disgusting especially since she was involved not only physically but romantically with both Micheal and Ethan. They sohuld have never put those two together. Beyond the point of Kendell sleeping with the entire cambius family is that their storyline didn't make sense and wasn't interesting. The "transition from business partners to lovers" bit wasn't believeable nor was it a natural fit.

Kendell isn't supposed to be who she is right now. She is a domesticated woman who lost all of her fire and her lust for life and new experiences. Kendell is supposed to be a woman who loves life and wants to experience as much of it as possiable. Kendell was supposed to be a woman who wanted to conquer the world and aspire to become a success not who she is right now. Kendell also was a bitch but now I have no clue who she is supposed to be. It seems as if all of the women on this soap have lost their fire and charismatic attitudes.

Have to give my opinion here-I don't think Zach and Kendall were forced. I never thought of Zach and Kendall as a romantic couple but that moment on the Florida beach(where Zach handed Kendall the hibiscus) changed that-I was sold. And I do think they look right together. JMO

Anyway, did watch Zach clips today....Spikey was too cute making those little noises. Those triplets are really growing on me :)

    • Here's the place to share some memorable criticism. You don't have to agree with it, of course (that's often where the fun starts). Like I mentioned to @DRW50, Sally Field was a favorite punching bag in the late '80s and early '90s.   Punchline (the 1988 movie where she and Tom Hanks are stand ups): "It's impossible to tell the difference between Miss Field's routines that are supposed to be awful, and the awful ones that are supposed to be funny." -- Vincent Canby, New York Times. "It's not merely that Field is miscast; she's miscast in a role that leaves no other resource available to her except her lovability. And (David) Seltzer's script forces her to peddle it shamelessly." -- Hal Hinson, Washington Post. "As a woman who can't tell a joke, Sally Field is certainly convincing. ... Field has become an unendurable performer ... She seems to be begging the audience not to punch her. Which, of course, is the worst kind of bullying from an actor. ... She's certainly nothing like the great housewife-comedian Roseanne Barr, who is a tough, uninhibited performer. Sally Field's pandering kind of 'heart' couldn't be further from the spirit of comedy." -- David Denby, New York
    • I tend to have two minds about Tawny (Kathy Najimy) fainting during Soapdish's big reveal. You're the costume designer, if anything, you should have known the whole time. I guess it's an application of what TV Tropes calls the "Rule of Funny." Every time I watch Delirious, I always want the genuine romance in John and Mariel's reunion at the deli counter to last longer. Film critics had their knives out for Sally in this period. I'll start a separate thread on the movies page.
    • I don't think so, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was Dumas this whole time.
    • Tamara Tunie was serving up grand dame diva fierceness.
    • Nick told Victoria that he and Sharon had married in England.  Victoria was shocked.  Then she realized he was kidding.  He confirmed it was a joke and they're platonic. I don't even know what to say about that.
    • It's funny you say that because part of the entertainment of the trials on the show are all the day players who come on as witnesses and jurors.  I'm certain it was like the Law and Order of its time. It employed so many New York actors, that if you look close enough, there's usually someone vaguely recognizable in the courtroom.
    • I will defend Dante.  People already suspect he may be a bit unstable from time to time (from his time as a prisoner).  And, he's taking care of other people's kids from time to time.  So, he has reason to be cautious with those in his care.
    • Josh continues to try and milk Abbott/Newman rivalry. First it was Billy/Victoria, then Kyle/Summer, then Noah/Allie (that worked out well) and now Kyle/Claire. Do we have any inkling when Billy Flynn will arrive and who he will play? I'm sure Cole's illness will mostly play offscreen. What's in store for Nick and Sharon? Is it time to put them back together? I can't see any other romantic options. Nick has no children on the canvas to play off, as Christian is never seen. Sharon has only Mariah onscreen.
    • I would appreciate (if they're not coming), for future scripts to refer to them by their iconic hairdos.  For example, if Hope needs to call Chelsea because Bo has Sepsis, I'd like Shawn-D to say, "My Mom called Chelsea (the one with the sassy short black hair) for an update." Also, new rule, if Melanie does return, she needs to dye her hair back to red.  I googled who she was five times during Victor's funeral.

    • Broderick, thank you for all of the info [I edited for space]. I am so grateful for everyone filling in the blanks for me. I suspected the Nora/Eliot scene was very important and it was setting something up but I didn't know what. Can't wait to see it play out. The two actors had such a great back and forth. I should have made the Paige/Patty Hearst connection. I thought Paige was in love with Brian from the first episode I watched but it seemed as if they were brother and sister. Steve kept being affectionate with her so I assumed he was the love interest. Then she was affectionate with someone else and well..she's a very busy woman. I can't wait to see Frances Fisher show up. (I'm trying to be vague because I don't know what would be a spoiler in this storyline) Now it makes sense why Draper would be upset. I didn't get the whole background of why he didn't go to NY. I'm a sucker for good acting, so I might still side with April and Margo, if the writers don't give Draper more to do besides yelling.  He had more chemistry with Logan, but I know that's not happening.  Something else I noticed: the show really takes care with even the smallest parts. The acting is superb. Too often, I noticed on older soaps they don't take care with the recurring or day players (Ryan's Hope was so bad with this that I couldn't make it through some episodes). It's only been six episodes, but so far, the casting department was spot on.
