Gina Tognoni is so winning Supporting Actress....

Don't think so. She's the only real competetion - in which usually is the toughest category but this year is a joke - but I see Heather Tom as front runner. She has support from two coasts and has some great material.

Y&R's Tracey Bregman's slot belongs to GL's Marcy Rylan. This will be a toss up between GL's Gina and B&B's Heather, but I put my poker chips on Gina.

I'm happy for Judy. I hope she wins this. I was totally shocked when I see her name. I really thought Martha Madison was going to get this.

I would say Heather Tom is the one to beat.

I hope Tracey Bregman sends in the stuff after clear springs. like the episode where she thought paul was dead and michael had to call him up.

Go Heather Tom!

And I hope Kristoff St John wins...he's due another win. Greg Rikaart's nomination shocks me. He did NOTHING all year.

Catherine Hickland was robbed!

I'm disappointed that my favorite Jacob Young is not nominated this year!:( I hope he definitely gets nominated next year, he especially did a really great job in his hospital scenes!

I think KMH wins for Supporting Actress. While I totally despise Emily to this day I did feel for her last year and her scenes were truly well acted.

I'm not sure if Storm's recent funeral would count for this years awards but if so then Heather Tom should also be considered strongly.

As for Supporting Actor all my support is behind Greg Rikaart.

Nope, anything that aired in 2008 is not considered.

I think Gina Tognoni owns this category. She's a superb actress, and she chose her clips well. They were shattering.

So did Kristoff St John give LML a compliment or a slap in the face or a back hander? He said 'thank you'...but then, so did Jeanne Cooper ('thank you to our lousy writers')

I do have to see that the Supporting Actress nominees were very very very well picked. I was hoping for Kelly or Tracey to win. Tracey's scenes were excellent and Kelly's scenes blew me out of my chair (even after seeing the original episode when it aired, it still gave me chill bumps). Gina, gotta love her! She becomes one with her character so well..it's no wonder she won with the juicy, captivating scenes she submitted.

As for Supporting Actor, Trent Dawson is a very talented actor, but either he's not getting the right material or he's submitting poor episodes because he keeps getting overlooked. He's a trememndous asset to daytime. Brian's scenes were also riveting; very shocked he wasn't the winner. I am, however, very pleased that Kristoff won. He's a gem.
