OMG she so hit the nail on the head. It's obvious B&E are only interested in writing for J&A(nothing wrong with writing for them) and just are dragging out everything else. Hardly any other of the character have an actual storyline of their own. Erica does NOW

I refuse to believe B&E are writing the J&A stuff, they're not capable of that kind of writing ;)

And she summarized the problem with AMC perfectly right there.

I was busy laughing at the lack of real ratings gains for all the returns over the past few weeks (because...well, because of what Marlena summarized - the basic way in which the show is managed all around), but truly the ratings would be even worse if it wasn't for the half-decency somebody is managing to get through with J/A in this mess-of-a-soap.

Jesse and Angie are KILLING it, which makes the rest of the show even more strange. I try, everyday, to find interest in other storylines or characters and I can't. The closest thing would be Erica's storyline, but even that sucks. I would prefer if they hurried with pairing Mario and La Lucci.

Couldnt have said it better. The Angie/Jesse show is miles better than anything currently on AMC. Erica's story blows. That fashion...ughhhhhhhhh...it suck balls. It was awful...painful to watch. And dont get me started on the Real Greenlee mess.

That fashion show was PURE COMEDY! From Erica repeating the same lines for two episodes to the cheapness compared to OLTL's Go Red ball--it was a HOT.MESS.

Yes it was a hot mess. The whole fashion show gave me a headache. And Erica's acting during her arrest was horrible. If it wasnt for J/A story AMC would be in the tubes. Rebecca Budig? Who?

Why? they did as good a job with the couple (well Jacob) on Loving and AMC. I seriously doubt if they weren't writing AMC that we woulda seen either character return--AMC seemed ot have forgotten about them. And that's ONE thing I give them big credit for.

I totally agree with you, Eric. Every storyline currently airing on AMC (other then Angie/Jesse) is just terrible, and I forward through them all. But the Angie/Jesse scenes (and yes, their story) has been wonderful. It was B&E who wanted them back, and they got 'em! Heck, they went fi-core to write for 'em! I firmly believe B&E are writing this tale, and love 'em or hate 'em, they're doing a great job with it. But that story only. :D
