I hate Nick blaming Taylor for the end of their marriage. He admited to loving Brooke! Why shoudl Taylor have accepted that? Im glad that she was strong and said she wants to focus on herself and being the woman she used to be. Nick was talking crazy. An hour after she left, he was all over Brooke, kissing her trying to make a future with her. Taylor certainly wasnt on his mind.

Speaking of Steph....I'd love for the Bakers to tell her her word is now worth zilch, credibility-wise. And I hated her blaming Brooke and Donna for Storm's fate. C'mon...she's just delighting in sticking it to them. Storm did the crime. Whether or not Brooke and Donna kept their end of the bargain, Storm is responsible for Storm's actions. No one else.

Doesn't it occur to Steph that threatening his sisters is a bad move? He coldly and callously shot her to get even with his father. Therapy, schmerapy...he's got a screw loose.

I’m extremely happy about last week.

We skipped the partner swapping and it seems Kay Alden got the steering wheel with full hands and now has the characters where she wants them to be.

I loved how they use the Who shot Stephanie-storyline and do not just forget it. All this Logan/Forrester drama is so intense. No surprise that Ridge is Momma’s Boy and sticking to Queen Stephanie.

It was nice seeing Taylor calm, reorganized and with a new perspective on life. “I will start looking for a man who has no ties to Brooke and just loves me.” You go, girl!

But now to the real event: Eric exposed definitely ranks as one of the top 10 most hilarious B&B episodes ever – and probably the only one not including Darlene Conley. This was a riot.

Speaking of which: Instead of focussing on technical mishaps with a non-digital camera; was I blind or everybody else? Eric was standing on the ledge – in the FIRST FLOOR. Yet, Donna always enters her apartment which looks like the GROUNDFLOOR with the green backyard et al. What kind of house is this???

Logic and continuity department can you hear me?

In light of the Oscars, I think it’s time to announce the winner of the puke-me-a-river-award: Ridge waffleman Forrester: "We need to rediscover each other."

Seriously Ridge, you must have slept with Brooke to the moon and back in the last 20 years. Your relationship is nothing but sex. So what’s there to rediscover!? Keep Ridge & Brooke together for heaven’s sake but do not show them actually together, please.

Going away for a few days to calm down does not mean you have to loose your child. Yes, she left them, but she probably would have been a danger to the child for as long as she was in bad shape. Nick has no right to forbid Taylor to take Jack anyway, even if you want to look at it legally. The mother has the right to her child. If daddy wants it, go to court (oooh, is that what's going to happen?).

Loved the scene between Katie and Stephanie, Katie trying to convince Stephanie to change her mind. There is a very lovely dynamic between those two. On one hand, Stephanie does have a resentment for Katie for the mere fact that her last name is Logan. On the other hand, though, Katie is sooooo much different than her sisters, and Stephanie is amazed and recognizes Katie's character. Of course, if Katie gets together with Nick, that's it. Whoredom International. Will she tell Lt. Baker and Charlie (mmmmmm) the truth?

Btw, WHY OH WHY? isn't Bridget associated with Charlie? Isn't he supposed to be contracted? Those two would be so hot together, it would be a nice pairing, a NON-FORRESTER/LOGAN pairing. Ah, dreams. It'll never happen.

But why is Taylor in bad shape? Because she can't handle Brooke's presence hovering over her life. She felt Nick still wasn't over Brooke blah blah blah...fine, great, whatever....she decided to end the marriage. We all know she's had a problem accepting that Jack is Brooke's biological child. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

To backtrack and say Taylor's anxieties were only about Nick's feelings for Brooke is a cop out. From the moment she found out about the switch, she's had trouble bonding with Jack.

I see what you mean. The story should, and originally was, about Taylor's shock of finding out the biological mother of her child was her life-long romantic rival. Of course, this being B&B, it all boils down to Nick and Brooke's destiny ( ). I'll be honest with you: The fact that Taylor couldn't bond with her child made for great drama, but it all focused on Nick and Brooke again. Still, Nick does not have the right to keep Jack from her. Although I'm not sure if Taylor loves Jack at all.

I hate Nick (I think he's a bigger [!@#$%^&*] than "The Dressmaker"), but I think he's got every right to keep Jack from Taylor. The woman is two twinkies short of a carton. She still blames Brooke for the end of their marriage. (and apparently everything just short of global warming..) I so hope James reappears and tells everyone that Taylor was having delusional conversations with Brooke. I'm tired of hearing how put upon Taylor is/was. She should have known what kind of man Nick was after he dumped Bridget for Brooke, then slept with Bridget while married to Brooke. And if Taylor heads where I think she's heading...she's a hypocrite. Which I will personally love.

The character has become so overwrought. Somebody on another board pointed it out, and I agree with her. All the ranting and raving have become nauseating. I know I'll get beat up for this one, but I think Jennifer Gareis gave Flannery a run for her money last year in most of their scenes together. She was a breath of fresh air and force to be reckoned with, and her performances were intriguing and controlled. Whereas with Flannery I can see where she's coming from a mile away. Same juvenile lines, chest thumping, and repeat. Now while I do get a kick out of some of her lines, the character has seemed to taken a downward spiral ever since the awful "I was abused as a child" storyline. Now that we have Eileen Davidson, Heather Tom, and Lesli Kay let's start writing some compelling stuff. These actresses can more than carry lead storylines, and are all Emmy nominated actors (hell two are Emmy winners).

Tay should just lose custody of baby Jack and then die already! Tay was drinking while alone with baby Jack, and she has the unmitigated gall to say who is a fit mother? Tay is the most unfit mother on B&B ever. Drinking alone with a baby, hallucinating because of her jealousy and insecurity towards Brooke, and then walking out on her less than a year old "baby". Tay is evil and needs to lose permanent custody of baby Jack! Let's not forget how Tay set herself on fire because she was unconscious due to all of her drinking years ago. Taywhore is such a trainwreck!

I don't know why anyone cares who Brooke or Taylor end up with.

a ) We've seen them on the romance merry-go-round for years.

b ) No relationship lasts on this show because Brad has tremendous difficulty telling stories don't revolve around a triangle.

As far as Stephanie is concerned, I've never been overly fond of the transformation in character. There's a difference between icy, classy matriarch and vulgar, crotchety grandma which is basically how she's been written for a long time. I have a horrible, horrible feeling that she is going to be put back with Eric again because of this "rich, beautiful history" they supposedly share and I don't want to see it. The characters are far more interesting apart than they ever have been together.

    • The way Andre held Dani afterwards, be still my heart. They think its only booty call hook ups, but I'm sensing a love slowly growing.  Way too much booty popping LOL.
    • I'm just pleased the homeless plotline has a point. I'm surprised they're going here this soon with the kids.

    • I'll focus on the positives: 1. VP has been an unexpected addition to the cast. I wasn't thrilled that Amy had been recast simply to eliminate her. Gotta give props that Josh saw more. Amy actually works as the glue for the Winters/Hastings family. The surprise Audra/Amy relationship has added depth to both characters. 2. Victor/Phyllis. It was fun to watch Victor undercut every single Phyllis pitch/bluff. MS played this well. No way Phyllis can get away with histrionics with Victor. It was a nice touch that Victor acknowledged Phyllis' trauma, but that he knows her all to well. 3. Chelsea reading Billy. MCE is being wasted when Chelsea is a victim. Look at how much more interesting Chelsea has been challenging Billy and Adam. Please bring Chelsea back to life. Same with Adam. 4. Anyone else notice that AG sometimes plays this homoerotic vibe with Adam/Billy. Like that look he gave Billy when Adam exited the bar. Since it's neither actor was there during the Delia s/l, it's just a lot tougher to sell the animosity. Since she's always been there, EH's pain with all the Adam's sticks.
    • 1) A-M had an inferiority complex when it came to Phillip. Alan had adopted Phillip (his wife Elizabeth had a stillbirth, Alan then had the babies switched) and always favored him. When A-M came to town, he got involved with Blake as his marriage to Harley was disintergrating, and Blake was married to Phillip at the time (but that marriage was crumbling because a) Beth was alive and b ) Blake kept that from Phillip). But by the time Phillip left town in '91, he and Alan-Michael were on good terms. So whatever A-M's referring to is writer laziness to further this plot. 2) Meredith Reade Bauer was Fletch's sister and Rick's ex-wife. Their marriage broke up after she discovered she couldn't have any more children. After a fight, Meredith and Phillip slept together, she got pregnant. Right before they got married, Rick realized, thanks to a sonogram, that he couldn't be the father. I believe Meredith just told him it was a random ONS, and he accepted that. Meredith had complications, and Rick couldn't decide whether to save her life or the baby's. He asked Phillip to decide for him, and Phillip chose Meredith. It wasn't until after that Rick found out that Phillip was the father, and had chosen Rick's wife over his child.  Not sure why Rick/Blake were "at odds", other than by that time Blake had married Ross, who was Phillip's biological uncle. Phillip's bio parents are Justin and Jackie Marler. 3) Back in '90, Phillip was accused of killing Beth's ex-lover Neil Everest. (Neil was killed by a bomb he planted the night of The Towers opening. He had planned to kill Phillip (and there's some weird twist where Neil had killed his wife and her children in a building collapse or something...but anyway..)  But Gary Swanson (who was plotting with Neil for some strange reason) knocked Neil out and saved Phillip.  Neil had already planted evidence implicating Phillip in the bombing (to make it look like he had been caught in his own trap), so he was charged.  Phillip, Beth and Rick faked Phillp's death. Rick and Phillip planted a cadaver and burned it in a car to make it look like an accident. Beth was pregnant with Lizzie at the time. To divert suspicion, (Mallet was already skeptical that Phillip was alive) Rick and Beth married, which upset Mindy (who was trying to start things back up with Rick) and knew nothing about the plot. When it all came out, Rick, Beth and Phillip were all given community service, and I believe Rick's MD license was suspended. Beth and Phillip went to Arizona, and Rick (I think) first got help from his uncle Mike to start community service out of state.
    • I can't answer 1 & 3, but I can answer this: Meredith is Fletcher's sister. She's a doctor. She and Rick fell in love. At one of the Bauer 4th of July BBQs, they had a fight. She ran into Phillip at a bar and the two of them ended up having sex. Rick and Meredith reconciled and...you guessed it, she turned up pregnant. She didn't know for sure who the father was but she let Rick think it was his. Just before their wedding, he saw a sonogram picture. Being a doctor, he could tell how far along she was and realized he wasn't the father. He still went through with the ceremony (why, don't ask me) and afterwards confronted her about it. She told him she picked up a stranger at a bar. Rick was bitter about it but he still stayed with her. Eventually, the secret came out. Rick was furious about Phillip betraying him. Still, he stayed with Meredith (again, why, I don't know). She had a stillbirth and was left barren. Meredith finally decided to leave him and left SF for good. Rick was awful to her, including after losing the baby. Just was a creep about it. It was hard for me to ever like the character after this storyline. I don't knowl if one of the writers strikes was going on during this story, but it was so, so bad. Rick and Meredith had no chemistry. The way Rick stayed with her, the way she stayed with him, made zero sense to me.

    • 2 kids...its Tyrell and Samantha
    • There was tension between Alan-Michael and Philip because Alan-Michael was sympathetic to Blake (and married her) after Philip left her to chase after an amnesiac Beth, but the show exaggerated that tension when Philip returned. Meredith was Fletcher's sister. She was a doctor. Rick was married to her. Philip slept with her. She got pregnant with his child. When the truth came out, Meredith lost the baby, and she and Rick split up. I think Philip had faked his death to escape murder charges (with Rick stealing a corpse to help him). Someone else will remember more.
    • He has nothing left to do on B&B. He's still written as this perfect angelic godlike person who has bad luck with women.
