SOD is reporting that Ashley could be back on Y&R full time, but nothing's been confirmed as of yet.

Eileen Davidson had a nice run at B&B, having Ashley around was fun but it doesn't seem that she can really fit in anywhere since the Logans have come in full force. There are just too many women on B&B and not enough men to balance them out.

Besides, Y&R NEEDS Ashley. The Abbotts definitely need to be rebuilt. I just love the conflict that Ashley always brings to the show, especially with Victor and Nikki. The only reason Eileen was fired from Y&R is because she didn't agree with LML's 'vision' and told her so. It certainly wasn't the Bells (who hired her before her last episode on Y&R aired!) or even Sony (after all, she was the queen of DAYS from '93-98). It was all LML so it doesn't surprise me that with that plot driven bitch finally gone that Eileen gets to come back.

While the new regime is at it, it's time to find a suitable recast for Billy. There are many great young actors out there, give somebody a shot, Jess Walton needs something to do other than obsess over effing Cane.

I have a feeling Y&R's finally setting up Gloria downfall. I remember when Eileen was fired in Dec 06 she said something about how great it would have Ashley involved in Gloria's destruction. It finally looks that the show might be headed in that direction, and they NEED Ashley there for that and maybe we could even see Ash bitchslap Gloria.

I hope that this does happen...I never liked Ashley mixing it up with Ridge.... To be honest, she shouldn't have been let go in the first place...

If Ashley does come back, I hope they don't automatically try to pair her up with Jeffrey Bardwell (that's if he's still on the show)...

Now that Victor is single again, they might go for another Victor/Ashley redux if she's back.....
