I know, right? I was a huge Sonny and Brenda fan back in the day, and they were definitely the biggest soap supercouple of the '90s.

I mean, Ryan and Victoria from Y&R? Loved them both, but a supercouple they were not.

No thanks. I could not stomach these two together, plus I found Sonny verbally and emotionally abusive with her, especially during the wire scene. He looked like he was about to punch her face in if you ask me. Then her crawling after him like a dog was just embarrassing. I liked Sonny outside of Brenda with the mob stuff from 1993-1997 when I watched but, with Brenda, I just did not care for the guy.

The only Sonny/Brenda moment I liked was when he dumped her dumbass at the altar

Luke and Noah a supercouple?

Just becuase your daytime's only gay couple, it doesn't make you a supercouple since you've been together for like 5 [!@#$%^&*] minutes....

As much as I love Luke and Noah by no means are they a supercouple. They havent done anything to earn the honor. When I think of supercouples on ATWT....names that come to mind are Bob and Kim, Lily and Holden, Carly and Jack.

I'm certainly biased but Erica and Jackson would be a much more logical choice than Erica and Dimitri IMO. Susan and Walt are both still on the show and Erica was with Jack for years before Dimitri, during Dimitri and now still years later long after Dimitri.

Some of these other choices baffle me as well.

Add me to one of those who don't understand why Luke and Noah are on that list. They've barely even been together, and--granted I've seen less than 10 scenes with them--they've not done too much compelling stuff, imo.

I'm shocked that an Edge Of Night couple is recognized, yet Mac & Rachel from Another World are missing.

AMC was so stupid to kill off half of a long-established and popular supercouple (considering they are in short supply). It's the one year anniversary of Dixie eating poisoned peanut butter and banana pancakes and I will never forgive them for it until they fix the story I waited two decades to see (i.e., Kate, Tad AND Live Dixie).

Agreed. Tad and Dixie were probably my favorite supercouple. And I still cannot fathom how killing off one half of that couple- the gorgeous, talented Cady McClain- was ever carried out. That was a monumentally stupid decision.

Stupid lame list. Where were Nikki and Victor, Katherine and Jill, Ridge and Brooke or at least Brooke and Stephanie.

All in all, it's a pretty lame list. Victoria & Ryan, but no Victor & Nikki? Whatever. I guess it's nice that EW still supports the soaps every now & then.

I do think they had supercouple status before that last time around. Anything after Dimtri saw Erica in bed with Jonathon Kinder and then went and banged Maria is pure [!@#$%^&*]. Blech.
