Inspired by this past week's DAYS dialogue, how about we keep track of the "it's so awful it's funny" dialogue from these post-strike episodes?

So far, the only soaps eligible for this thread are: DAYS, AMC, GH, Y&R, B&B, ATWT.

Abe to EJ: "They'll [the I.S.A.] be crawling up your jock strap."

Marlena to John: "Stefano dry cleaned your brain."

I'm only watching AMC nowadays, but I think the dialogue and scripts have been much better lately with the scabs! Ironic?

It all depends on who's scabbing, too. Some soaps may have scabs with zilch script experience, while other soaps may have more (cough) experienced writers working in secret.

AMC's dialogue has been inconsistent day to day, but I'll keep an ear out for any "so awful it's funny" dialogue

Y&R's benefited from the "scabs", and I think the dialogue has actually been one of the better facets of the show lately.

However, I definitely see the changes at DAYS and to an extent GH.

General Hospital -- the best WGA dialog out of the three ABCD soaps (in my opinion) -- has been HORRIBLE!

I think Y&R's has been pretty good so far. I don't know who is writing for the show, but I haven't noticed a change.

I wasn't the original one to post this, but figured I'd post it here anyway 'cause it's by far my favorite piece of "scab dialogue" yet! lmao

Shawn: I'm gonna kill you.

Thug: Stop, I have a gun.

Shawn: I don't care, you're in big trouble buddy.

Thug: You're forgetting who has the gun.

Shawn: I don't care if you have a gun, if you don't let me get to my wife I'm gonna beat the crap out of you.

Thug: Guess you're on the wrong side of the gun to say that, aren't you?

This is a good idea. AMC has been veery good with the writing latley but you never know what you will hear.

February 1:

Chelsea: "Just like that?"

Victor: "Just like that."

Then the very next act:

Chelsea: "Just like that?"

Victor: "Just like that."
