Jacob Young contract expires in a few weeks and for those who dont know. Sources say he's is Goner but some still have hope he'll resign at the last minute but if he doesn't, the show will indeed recast. Now expect a Huge announcement to come out real soon regarding that matter. Also, Alexa Havings may be on her way back to AMC (Yes already) if the strike doesn't end.

There's been rumors Alexa would be back. What's there for her to do with a strike going on? Isn't Justin's series on hold?

If Alexa is truly back at AMC then poor Amanda Baker, recasts just dont stand a chance on this show, although Baker was pretty awful. I would like to think ABC Daytime have learned their lesson with the promotion for Budig's return and the negative affect that had on fans, but I wouldn't put it past them to do it again. Although I wouldn't have thought Alexa would be back so soon...I suppose with no pilots to audition for there's not much for her to do.

Hmm, Jacob's contract cycles originally should have ended in September. He joined the show in Sept. of 03.... so I guess what he signed a 4 or 5 month extension? Anyone with some insight?

I remember reading in SOD awhile back he did sign an extension last year, but it wasn't September, it was over the summer...
