I kinda like the one Republican guy they have on CNN, at least he's giving him a chance as President instead of declearing doomsday.

I haven't posted in this thread at all, but I have been following this election closely for almost two years, and I must say after hearing this news....

A bundle of joy rushed into my heart. It feels so unreal.

What makes all of this even more remarkable is the fact that two of the three highest postitions in the U.S. government are/will be held by people who one hundred years, would have been denied the right to vote.

President: Barack Obama

Vice-President: Joe Biden

Speaker of the House: Nancy Pelosi

It's really unbelivable when you think about it.

Quick, someone cue Happy Days Are Here Again!

LOL I'm glad you guys are happy. There are ALOT of us out there who didn't root for either candidate and seriously fear for the future of this country if either won were to win.

Jesse Jackson was shown in a crowd, not sure if it was in Chicago or Harlem because I was flipping through, he was just in the middle of the crowd, people milling around him and he had tears in his eyes. And I can't stop crying

My 92 year old great grandmother voted today. She never thought this day would come.
