Members LoyaltoAMC
God it's all so incestuous. So at ATWT, Rayfield replaces Culliton, just like he did at AMC. And both are under the control of Passanante, the woman whom Culliton replaced at AMC. Just love the neverending HW musical chairs and the different configurations of wriitng teams! Members Sylph
Goutman is writing ATWT.
Members juppiter
I'm inclined to agree. The show's flavor hasn't changed a bit since the strike ended (... unfortunately ....) So either Passanante was scabbing during the strike, or Goutman has her installed as a puppet regime. Though I can't imagine why in this day of cost-cutting measures. Members NYC123
Courtney Bugler is OUT! FINALLY AMC HAS GOTTEN RID OF THE RIGHT WRITER!!! Thanks Toups! The next news I am wating for is B&E are OUT! Richard Culliton can be AMC's HW agian. He was okay from the start but at then end of his run AMC got really good. Members LoyaltoAMC
Culliton will never be AMC's HW as long as Frons is there. One of the first things Frons did when he started was to can Culliton after getting a load of his vet-heavy bible for AMC and replace him with Rayfield. I wouldn't want Culliton there anyway. He's good as a co-/associate HW, but left on his own I don't trust the guy. After all these years, I still don't have a clue what Proteus was about and how it tied in with Vanessa's alternate personalities. Talk about a story being made up as it went along!! Forget about him going to GH. I'm sure Tony Geary would be dusting off his boxing gloves if Culliton was even rumored to be going back there. Members NYC123
I know that hack Jean Passanante started the Proteus SL. I think Richard has a better vision then McT and B&E. I would give him another chance but with Frons there NOPE.................. Heres to hoping B&E GET CANNED!!!

Members LoyaltoAMC
I loathed Passanante's time on AMC, but I don't recall her being involved with the Proteus stuff. She was all libidizone, if I remember correctly. I think Culliton got Edmund and Brooke back together and had them pursuing the developing Proteus story for Tempo. Pretty sure that was all Culliton. Members Steve
Woohoo to Bugler finally getting canned! Maybe Culliton can come over to AMC as a scriptwriter. At least he knows the history of the show and wanted to write for the vets.
Members LeClerc
Very glad it's Bugler that's out at AMC. I guess that explains why her past 2 scripts were actually above average for her, probably trying to save herself. But ultimately her leaving is not going to improve the ratings. I also get the feeling we've seen the last of Hope Harmel Smith. TPTB really screwed up by putting her name in the credits before the strike, or maybe it was agreed beforehand she wouldn't stick around afterwards. She was pretty good though, especially for someone who had only produced. That takes AMC back to five scriptwriters: Rebeeca Taylor, Joanna Cohen, Kate Hall, Chip Hayes (demoted), and Michael Cinquemani, with Addie Walsh and Amanda Beall writing the odd script here and there. Cinquemani, who was very good at GH, is quite disappointing at AMC.
