Members Sylph
I don't think so. That is, yes, she probably has some of Guza's traits. Yet, for unknown reasons, I wouldn't like her to be let go.

Members RavenWhitney
So, the headwriters were absent from 52 shows. That's not too bad. About 10 weeks. Phelps wasn't writing far in advance since the show has lost one million viewers since Feb 07.
Members dragonflies
Phelps was writing?
Members R Sinclair
That's no surprise (if this is indeed true). She did that while she was producing OLTL when that show was without a head writer back in 1999. She just goes uncredited. She might not actually pen-to-paper "write" the show, but yeah. Administrator Toups Posted March 18, 2008 Author Administrator Share Posted March 18, 2008 Y&R is now the 2nd soap back from the strike. - Cherie Bennett & Jeff Gottesfeld back listed as Writers on March
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Damn, now I have to pay close attention to the dialogue and story progression in each episode to see if these two are as f-u-c-k-e-d up as their former boss. Something tells me that neither will last pass their contract cycle though. I could see Maria getting rid of them when she has the chance. Is there any word yet if Maria will be adding any new writers? I didn't see today's show yet, is Maria still listed as Josh's Co-Head Writer? I assume the actual beginning of the Maria Arena Bell era will be when she's listed as the sole HW in the credits...
Members Soapsuds
She is still listed as co head writer. Danny was on today's show btw.
Administrator Toups Posted March 18, 2008 Author Administrator Share Posted March 18, 2008 Yeah, Maria was still listed as Josh's Co-HW. Cherie and Jeff were under the "Written By" credit so there's no way of knowing if they wrote the breakdown or script - I would guess script though. Members Chris B
That's interesting to see that they're back so soon. Can't wait to see what other names pop up. Hopefully not many from the LML era.

Members brimike
Was Hamner in the credits? I find it hard to believe he'd be back, but then again, I've heard nothing about him being fired.
Members Chris B
Lets keep our fingers crossed that Scott Hamner is too loyal to LML to stay. I actually had his email when we did an interview with him for the Knots Landing website. That was before Y&R started to royally suck. Would love to hear from him and LML now! Administrator Toups Posted March 19, 2008 Author Administrator Share Posted March 19, 2008 No, Hamner wasn't in the credits. I think Y&R might just list episode writers which is fine by me. I like it that way for my archives. We'll see what happens in tomorrow's Canadian episode.
