January 25, 200817 yr Member Regarding who's writing DOOL during the strike, just take a look at who didn't sign the petition that appeared in variety. It's widely speculated that two former writers of DOOL, who hightailed it to another network for a while until they were shown the door, have returned because they were always well respected by Corday Productions. Do you really think Sony/Corday/Bell would let the sinking DOOL be written by office assistants? You'll see DOOl improve dramatically during these strike episodes with these writers in the mix (they've learned alot during their time away and DO love Salem and its inhabitants) and Sheffer on the picket lines. I am not quite so hopeful, especially if it's who I think it is. Do you care to share what you know? We all could use some good news right now.

As in look at this list - for Days writers not the 2 former writers? Days of our Lives Who did (sign): Hogan Sheffer (Head Writer), Beth Milstein, Frederick Johnson, Tom Casiello, Tom Casiello, Cydney Kelley, Judith Donato, Jodie Scholz, Bettina Bradbury, Mike Cohen. Who didn’t (sign): Dena Higley (newly installed co-Head Writer), Meg Kelly (recently demoted Co-Head Writer), Gordon Rayfield. And Jeanne Marie Ford is back? Edited January 25, 200817 yr by maconrich
January 25, 200817 yr Member I think either SOD or SOW is saying that Chris Goutman is writing ATWT right now. Not sure if it is true though. He's been writing it for a while now.
January 25, 200817 yr Member Of course there's more than just 3 people writing for Y&R or any show. They might have been able to do it for a couple of weeks, but it's just not possible to keep it up for a long period of time. But the emphasis wasn't on if it's true. Rather who are these people.

The article over in the strike thread confirms it´s Dena Highley. And a little preview from monday scab episode, Stefano says he has John´s entire brain downloaded on a disk! So she sure learned a lot, but I quess her teacher was Tom Langan.
January 25, 200817 yr Member P. S. Toups, why is Hannah Louise Shearer missing from your Profiles subforum?
January 25, 200817 yr Author Administrator But the emphasis wasn't on if it's true. Rather who are these people. We will never know the names of scabs. P. S. Toups, why is Hannah Louise Shearer missing from your Profiles subforum? I never got around to doing her profile.

January 25, 200817 yr Member Finally, JP and the writers were not listed on today's ATWT, so Thursday must have been there last show and it was a great show
January 25, 200817 yr Member I don't see how Friday's show was any better than a Passanante episode. It seemed exactly the same except for worse dialogue. I think people who want Passanante out are gonna read wayyy too much into this.
January 25, 200817 yr Author Administrator Finally, JP and the writers were not listed on today's ATWT, so Thursday must have been there last show Everyone on the team wasn't listed? Interesting. I thought it would be the scripts writers to disappear first.
January 25, 200817 yr Member Everyone on the team wasn't listed? Interesting. I thought it would be the scripts writers to disappear first. Yup nobody was listed at all.
January 25, 200817 yr Member Everyone on the team wasn't listed? Interesting. I thought it would be the scripts writers to disappear first. Nope. Usually it goes "EP, Written by, Directed by, Writers, Line Producers" but today it just went "EP, Directed by, Line Producers." It is interesting, because Peter Brash implied that scripts ran out before outlines.

Wow, wonder what happened to the breakdowns then - Goutman decided to ditch those? Shades of Y&R when that entire team disappeared all at once.
