Members LeClerc
Per Michael Logan Pratt's work on AMC starts airing August 27th. Good lord. There you have it, he really only did start June 23rd. Another month of filler. So who really developped Taylor McBride? I'll go with Frons... Members dragonflies
Wow that seems like a long time away, two months? I was guessing early August at best I posted a link to the article in the Spoiler forum, so far I'm loving what Pratt has to say, especially his plans for Fusion
Members AddictedToSoaps
August 27th!?! Jeez, that's a long time.
Members Sylph
Waiting another month?
Members LeClerc
That's a month of material written by writers who knew when they were writing it that they had been fired. The stuff that's airing now is awful and boring, and it was written when they still thought they had a job and were actually trying!
Members Sylph
Even worse if it was outlined by Beall and Walsh.
Members dragonflies
They were trying? LOL Another month of crap from B&E, oh joy
Members LondonScribe
Creative Consultant, they say. I was going to make this point. Wasn't Lynn Marie Latham originally brought on as a Consultant? Hmm...
Members Sylph
I believe Paul Rauch is 74. And he has never written before so the analogy cannot be drawn.
Members dannigold
Paul Rauch was exec producer of one life to live through the Eterna storyline.

Administrator Toups Posted July 14, 2008 Author Administrator Share Posted July 14, 2008 Interesting. I didn't think they were gonna credit him. I don't know what to think about this. Rauch?
Members brimike
Well, they couldn't credit him when he actually STARTED writing. But now's a different story.
Members MarkH
This is a more specific restatement and reference (courtesy of JosieK at Usenet) TV Guide (Miley Cyrus cover) July 21-Aug. 3, page 96 Michael Logan writes: OMFG. Not in a good way. Did anyone see the last days of SB? Or his run on GL? I didn't even like his 80s OLTL, even though that is getting such homage now. Sigh. My show, my show, my show.... I just watch it die day by day by day....
Members MarkH
WHO IS IN CHARGE??? Is this a Bloom move? Does Sony's Steve Kent have FOND MEMORIES of the last days of Santa Barbara? I just am not seeing, in the universe of possibilities, how this came to be? Can one of you just step me through, SERIOUSLY, the sequence of events that suggest this intervention would be GOOD? Rauch + Sheffer + Racina + ... I'm going to take some smelling salts now. (Individually, each of these men has good and bad moments...but collectively, they reflect a lack of fidelity with the Bell vision that is jaw dropping. Remember folks, if you have the #1 show, reinvent it!)
