So the point of this thread is to bash Kay Alden and heap praise on Ron Carlivati?

Perhaps we can compromise and say both of them are good at what they do!

In my opinion, B&B has improved in leaps and bounds since Kay came on board, it's a much more balanced soap now!

The point is - being objective. The show is marginally better, the bad things are just under some make-up like a pimple that you can't see, but it doesn't meen it's not there.

Again, this is a case of someone putting a thought out there that miraculously everyone agrees with. Like that Patrick Mulcahey is the best scriptwriter in daytime right now. Yeah, right...

Honestly....I never made this thread to piss people off, but I must admit, It feels kinda good!!!! Years ago, I was sorta the villian on SON. Welcome back "Mean" Jay!!! That was everyones problem with me. I got too into it, and I will always be that way.

Why wouldnt you be able to? Because I have a differing opinion. Its funny how everyone says that we should be able to agree to disagree but when someone disagrees, you attack. I find it really funny. Would I receive a block for diasgreeing? Would my name be censored? No, because its all good to think differently. There are many things I want to say, but I've been here a long time, and I dont wish to tarnish that.

Thats the thing....I didnt attack because of the difference in opinion. I attacked because I was attacked for my own very difference in opinion. Never the less, I was attacked before I attacked back and that was in retaliation to my actions being called ridiculous.

That quoted stuff didnt come about until page 4. For 3 pages, I was attacked. Whats good with that?

The best drama will happen when Kay Alden gets back to write for Y&R and flops. That's when I want to hear everyone saying she is such a great writer. She only wrote for Y&R as the sole head writer in the period 1999–2002. And there was bad stuff back then.

I don't know where this Kay Alden love spreads from. Probably because there's no one better right now actively writing for daytime.

And P. S. if anyone wants to know who would I like to helm Y&R, here's my answer — Nancy Curlee and Trent Jones.
