i think its always been like this, wella s far back as i can member anyways. lol. when PC was on it came on at 11:30. Y&R use to be on at 11, then news, then B&B...

i think back in the days on NBC it was Santa Barbara @ noon, Days @ 1, AW @ 2 ... and SuBe was on @ 2 as was Pssns

Where I live in central Kentucky, we receive two ABC affilates, two CBS affilates, and one NBC affilate on cable.

Both of the ABC affilates have the same schedule:

AMC--1 pm/12 pm

OLTL--2 pm/ 1 pm

GH--3 pm/2 pm

Those two affilates are WHAS-11 from Louisville, KY and WBKO-13 from Bowling Green, KY.

The NBC affilate is WAVE-3 from Louisville, KY and has shows DAYS at 1 pm/12 pm.

One of the CBS affilates (WLKY-32 from Louisville, KY) has the following schedule:

B&B--1:30 pm/12:30 pm

ATWT--2 pm/1 pm

GL--3 pm/2 pm

Y&R--4 pm/3 pm

The other CBS affilate here (WTVF-5 from Nashville, TN) has the following schedule:

Y&R--12:30 pm/11:30 am

B&B--1:30 pm/12:30 pm

ATWT--2 pm/1 pm

GL--3 pm/ 2 pm

It is also important to note that I live in the central time zone (near the time central/eastern time zone boundary). Nashville is also on central time, while Louisville is on eastern time.

Eastern Canada; EST/EDT time zone:

12:30 PM Y&R on CBS

1:00 PM AMC on ABC and DAYS on NBC and GLOBAL (Canadian)

1:30 PM B&B on CBS and CTV (Canadian)

2:00 PM OLTL on ABC; ATWT on CBS and GLOBAL (Canadian)

3:00 PM GH on ABC and CTV (Canadian); GL on CBS and GLOBAL (Canadian)

4:30 PM Y&R on GLOBAL (Canadian) (one day ahead of the USA broadcast)

7:00 PM Coronation Street on CBC (Canadian) - repeated for 2 1/2 hours on Sunday at 7:30 AM

The only 3-way competition is with DAYS, AMC, Y&R/B&B

Just to add: I've always thought it unfair that we Canadian viewers get Y&R one day ahead of the country that produces it. Same thing happened with Passions on GLOBAL up until recently. (now we have GL same day simulcast)

I live in Victoria canada and we get the Seattle affiliates as well as Canadian simulcasts of most of the shows so right now it's:

CBS (Seattle): Y&R @ 11, B&B @ 12:30 (after the news), ATWT @1 and Gl @ 2.

B&B, ATWT and Gl are all simulcast at the same time on Canadian stations.

ABC (Seattle): AMC @12, OLTL @1, GH @ 2 again all simulcast on Canadian stations

NBC: Days @ 1 (not simulcast)

Then at 3 on Global (a candian network) we get tomorrow's Y&R and at 4 on E! (another Canadian network--was CH) we get tomorrow's Days
