Grade All the Soaps!

All My Children: B
All My Children has been so much better of late. We have gotten away from the hospital scene and moved on. I like the Annie story and it kept me intrested. I also like Krystal/Tad/Colby/Sean scenes. Its so refreshing to watch! I love Kate Hall. She has done a wonderful job as SW. The only downside is that we need some charcters back like Brooke, David, Anna, Maria.

General Hospital: C+
What happend? Oh wait Guza is still writing. FIRE HIM! The only thing I like is Spenelli! I also like that Ric's father is back. It looks intresting and LuSam. I hate Liz! Die and I hate Jason! They are so anyoying and wheres the balance. Nowhere to be found.

Days of Our Lives: D-
I am being generous. A show that used to be a masterpeice has just gone down the tubes.
I'll do the others later.

AMC: C+. Really the only good part is the Annie/Ryan story. Im really loving the mystery behind her. Everythign else is a bit meh for me

B&B: B-. The rape storyline has been good but I really dont care for Donna the ho story nor the music story with Phoebe, Rick and Constantine

GH: B. Im enjoying it. Lucky and Sam are the main reasons why I watch and thank goodness they are on alot. The rape story was horrible though and the Noah/Robin/Patrick story was a bore. Overall this show keeps me entertained

PSSNS: B+. This show is going out with a bang. Things have been picking up and stuff has been happening. It has a good mix or drama, romance and comedy.

I havent seen anything from Days or GL so I cant judge. ATWT seems interesting and pretty good, but Y&R is dreadful. Easily the worst soap on the air

Passions A+

This show is great right now. I am so happy DirecTV picked it up.

Bold and The Beautiful A

The rape was very emotional. I'm not a fan of Constante.

The Young and The Restless C+

The show could be better, but the Phyllis drama has been good.

Days of our Lives F

I just watch out of habit.

Days: B-/C+: I have to say Hogan really bombed this summer..The dimera story started off so great in June, then once the letter reading started it got really lame..I've been so bored by the Coleen and Santo saga..Andre putting Sami, Lucas and EJ in peril every week has gotten really old as well...Stefano returning should have been much bigger than it was...Only in the past week or so has the show started picking up steam again...Bo and Hope have had some really good material, and its great to see them back on the frontburner...Bringing Anna back was genious, but then to not use her after Tony returned has been a waste...I'm loving Roman finally having a personality, and i'm looking forward to his stuff with Kate....Putting Sami and Ej at the center of the Dimera feud is fine, but i don't understand why Marlena and John aren't more involved...They should really be at the forefront of the story and not on the backburner..Also Lexie should be be more involved..It seems like they brought her back for nothing...Steve and Kayla didn't have much to do at the beginning of the summer, but i'm enjoying the Pocket storyline and looking forward to when they get involved with Phillip..Touch the Sky was a very bad idea, especially because we had newbies shoved down our faces...And Shawn and Belle have been incredibly boring this summer..

I'm hopeful with Ed Scott now on board, the show will improve...I just want to be excited about the show again, its really been a long time..

One Life to Live: C+

I have to admit. The last couple of episodes has been good. I love Lindsey! Thos Todd baby is picking up and now its so good right now!!!! OLTL has just moved up on my must watch list. I have seen major improvments. The only thing I really hate is Jessica/Nash thing.

    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
    • You've been seeing him all along. You just didn't know it was him, I guess.

    • Where to for Dana? She's pissed off the Duprees (most of the cast), alienated her daughter and will she be welcomed by the Have Nots at the diner? Maybe she can befriend Ashley and Derek and liven up their story.
    • Melissa Ordway announced she was moved to recurring back in November but is still credited with the contract cast members.
    • I think of Evan as a smarmy bast*rd. Maybe you'll like that description. You certainly have him pegged correctly since he is just a soldier following "Admiral" Iris's marching orders.
    • So far the only interest I've seen from Evan to Amanda has been listening to Iris's orders to go and seduce her.  So far he hasn't been successful... but who knows. Amanda is unbearable at times. Entitled, spoiled... idiotic. Iris... so blatantly manipulating her and Amanda takes the bait. But I guess... when she gets in trouble... she'll have a chance to learn. That's what makes these shows so interesting.    Oh, no, don't worry. You haven't ruined a thing. Evan has not been on my radar that much... he was not one of the characters I was caring particularly... so nothing much has been changed for me. I don't think he has the stuff to ruin Rachel's life. He's just a pretty guy that can follow orders. Iris on the other hand... is dangerous.

P.S Maybe Evan will surprise me. Who knows.
    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
